AMERICANS EXEMPTED

AMERICANS EXEMPTED FROM INDEFINITE DETAINMENT

MARCH 1, 2012

(This article was supposed to have been posted March 1, 2012. For some strange reason it did not post. I just found it and felt, now is the time to post this. For some it might be a reminder; for others, it might be new. There will probably be something in the news about this soon).

I suppose many will feel better now that President Obama kept his word about not subjecting American citizens to the controversial "indefinite detention" law that was passed earlier this year. It was also called the "kidnap law." According to Obama, "Section 1022 of NDAA does not apply to U.S. citizens."

However, some are yet concerned that because Obama has indicated it will not indefinitely detain Americans under the NDAA, it doesn't necessarily mean that future administrations will also refrain from doing so.
