“For God may speak in one way (through people, nature, events), or in another (intuition, thoughts, inner or outer voice), yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.” Job 33:14-16 (NKJ) The opening verse is telling us that most of us are too busy to listen while awake or conscious. Recently, I have been bombarded with questions about dreams and their interpretations. Every mammal dream, yes that mean animals, however, not everyone remembers their dreams. Dreams are a communication between the body, mind and spirit set forth in pictures or images on the screen of our unconscious reality. Dreams are a natural function of the unconscious mind to express itself. About 16 hours of the day most people live out of the overactive Conscious Mind, this brain wave activity is usually between the Theta, Alpha, and Beta States. The Subconscious or Unconscious Mind serves as a video or tape recorder collecting all the data that’s coming in through the 5-senses. This includes mostly data that you are not consciously aware of; every smell, vibration, sound, taste, the thousands of images that you don’t realize you see; cellular memories, long term memories, intuitions, spirit memories, and of course God speaking.

Dreams are an outlet for the Unconscious Mind, allowing the brain wave activity to slow down to the Delta State so that it can process all the conscious and unconscious data. Dreams give you the opportunity to express your desires, likes, dislikes, fantasies and fears in the safe environment of your bed. One of the main purposes for sleep is so that you can dream; it is a rest from the carnal mind or 10% of brain activity called the Conscious Mind. We are all victims of obsessive thinking and it is this thinking that kills us. “To be carnally minded is death.” We sleep so that the Unconscious Mind can filter out all the data accumulated daily or the past data that surfaces daily, otherwise, we would literally go insane and die.
During the course of a night or sleeping period one will have countless dreams; although only one or two may stand out and seem as though it lasted all night. It was believed and taught by the original Hebrew people that at least 1 out of every 6 dreams is a message from God.
TYPES OF DREAMS
The first time the word dream is mentioned in scripture is in Genesis 20. (However, in Genesis 15 Abram had a vision that turned into a deep sleep or trance-like almost nightmarish experience. We wont explore that one here)
3 “But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”
4 But Abimelech had not come near her; and he said, “Lord, will You slay a righteous nation also? 5 Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this.”
6 And God said to him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her. 7 Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you and you shall live. But if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.”
Abimelech (a heathen king) was given a dream of revelation, warning and blessing by God. This type of dream is what I would call a “Direct Dream” or “Literal Dream”. There was no need for interpretation, it was very clear. The dream revealed the truth about Abraham and Sarah’s relationship; it was a warning of what not to do and a prophetic promise of blessings through obedience. Do you believe that God does not speak to people you consider sinners or of your brand of religion? The is one of the many passages of scripture that prove otherwise. The Creator speaks to everyone in dreams.
The second dream mentioned in the Bible is in Genesis 28:12-15.
12 “Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
Jacob, a righteous man was given a prophetic dream of comfort and promise of being blessed. This type of dream is what I would call a “Prophetic Symbolic Dream”, therefore, it must be interpreted. Prophetic Symbolic Dreams are normally multi-dimensional. This means they could have many levels of meanings and the information could affect past, present and future.
First of all, this was a prophecy that would be relevant to Jacob’s life, then prophetically revealing Jesus (John 1:51), then the prophetic re-discovery of the spiral staircase (DNA) within man, and many other future things.
The third and fourth dreams mentioned in the Bible are in Genesis 37:5-
5 Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”
8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.
9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.”
10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” 11 And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.
Joseph’s dreams were also Prophetic Symbolic Dreams with multi-dimensional interpretations that were relevant for Joseph, a people becoming a nation, the influences of the Mazzaroth (Zodiac) and many other celestial events to come.
(Joseph’s dreams almost got him killed. Beware who you tell your dreams to, some might try to kill the dream and the dreamer.)
The fifth and sixth dreams mentioned in the Bible are in Genesis 40.
5 Then the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, had a dream, both of them, each man’s dream in one night and each man’s dream with its own interpretation. 6 And Joseph came in to them in the morning and looked at them, and saw that they were sad. 7 So he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in the custody of his lord’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad today?”
8 And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.”
So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”
9 Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “Behold, in my dream a vine was before me, 10 and in the vine were three branches; it was as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes. 11 Then Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.”
12 And Joseph said to him, “This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days. 13 Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler. 14 But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. 15 For indeed I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; and also I have done nothing here that they should put me into the dungeon.”
16 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “I also was in my dream, and there were three white baskets on my head. 17 In the uppermost basket were all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”
18 So Joseph answered and said, “This is the interpretation of it: The three baskets are three days. 19 Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head from you and hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from you.”
20 Now it came to pass on the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. 21 Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand. 22 But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. 23 Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.
FALLING DREAMS = Primal fears, decisions, transition, detachment, freedom. OR, what are you afraid of losing? Let go or hold on, make up your mind; losing control or fear of losing control.
RUNNING DREAMS = Spiritual momentum, progress, getting ahead, reaching your goals, running toward your destiny. OR, what (who) are you running from- what part of you? You are hiding or looking for an escape?
HOUSE/BUILDING = Your life (body, business, family, ministry). What’s happening to the building? What’s going on in your life? Something new is starting. Or, you are dealing with past destructive attitudes, actions, thought – becoming more constructive, focus, dependable, dedicated.
NAKED/NOT COMPLETELY DRESSED= Vulnerability, open, expressive, not controlled by the thoughts of others, Free, unashamed. Or, you are afraid someone will learn about your secret or secret life. Embarrassment, shame, not prepared, lack of confident, trust issues.
This enlightened type of conscious interaction within the dream state is developed through setting the intent, proper breathing, meditation and giving yourself permission before going to sleep. Speak out loud to yourself and say that you dream, remember the dream and consciously interact with the dream. For some, it might take a while to experience this at will on a consistent basis, but it can be done.
The dream experience is the detachment from the mass of our physical and material reality; it is a form of out of the body experiences and what we might call “spirit travel” transcending time and space. In many cases the things we see are real, we know this because they later materialize (come to pass).
Realizing that the dream world is real and if one become adept at “lucid dreaming;” would it not be possible to bring the dream world into our present reality? For instance, if one is dreaming of something precious that has been lost, couldn’t it be possible to recover it and bring it out of the dream world immediately? Is that a stretch of imagination? NO! We do it all the time but from the 3-D reality, which is subject to time and space, therefore, it takes longer. Why not try to do it in reverse, which could be the way it was meant to be from beginnings.
Dream world that we go to are 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th dimension realities and beyond, but they exist parallel, above, below our 3-dimensional world and WithIN us. Other versions of you are actually existing in those realities, interacting with people. We are multi-dimensional beings, just as the Creator is; existing everywhere at Presently.
The dream world is the NOW reality, that’s why they seem so real. As we better understand this and realize the power of Spirit the 10% of brain wave activity (Carnal Conscious Mind) will lessen. Thus, we will need less sleep as we will operate more out of the Unconscious and Spirit realm. This will produce more “daydreaming” and use of the power of imagination and words to bring dreams into a NOW manifestation/materialization.
You have permission to DREAM & THINK. That disease will disappear because it does not exist. That new house, vehicle, money or whatever will appear instantly because you created it. Those relationships will be healed. Is it possible to go to people in dreams? Can we come to people in their dreams and give them messages, comforts, warning, prophecy or direction? YES! I remember many years ago traveling into a remote region and village of northern Ontario, Canada on the Hudson Bay. The Holy Spirit had sent me there in the dead of winter, not dressed for the climate. I had to actually cancel my trip to Mexico because Spirit impressed upon me to go north. The temperature was -50 below zero and the wind chill factor was -100 below zero. Many of these isolated communities had never had visitors from the outside, nor had anyone to proclaim the Good News of Jesus and the Kingdom. The people of the Cree Indian nation there had never seen me before but strangely about a week before my unannounced arrival, several members of the tribe had Shared-Dreams about me. A Shared-Dream is a dream experienced by more than one person. Most times it happen in the same night as people are in various locations. It can also happen days apart. I arrived in the area by a plane landing on the frozen Hudson Bay and by Toboggan into the village. Upon my arrival several people had come to the house where I was to stay, they all had had dreams prior to my coming describing my appearance and some of the things that would take place during my stay. They were overjoyed seeing me, touching me and confirming the Great Spirit had me come to them in dreams before physically arriving. This experience happened many times during my time traveling to many nations on the mission fields. I had somehow been projected into the consciousness of the people and it made it much easier for them to receive what I had to say. On a few occasions, people saw my same face and form, but with white hair. I told them it was a sign of spiritual maturity and wisdom and possibly a sign that I will come again in the future. They might have been seeing a future version of me. Over the years, I have gotten emails and calls from people telling me that I came to them in a dream and had given them an accurate prophetic word that materialized, direction in challenging situations, comfort, correction, warning and encouragement. I was not consciously aware of those experiences. We can travel in the dream world consciously and unconsciously. The reviving of this message on Dreams today was inspired by Dr. Suzanne Begin who lives in Minnesota. I initially met her in Atlanta, Georgia many years ago at Prophetic Conference/School of Prophets where I was invited to speak. She sent me an inquiry and testimony about dreams yesterday, after replying, I felt Spirit inspiring me to share and add to this message given in 2004. Here is some of what Suzanne Begin shared on Face Book: “Prophet John, Blessings. My friend ——— is interested in the dream world phenomenon as a source of accessing knowledge. I know that you had visited me in a dream to guide me to safety prior to us meeting in the physical……. If I recall correctly you have done teachings on this. Will you share more or point me to a resource?” Suzanne B. Can we give others specific dreams, implant dreams in their head? Yes, there are scriptures that seem to suggest this, but that’s another message for another time. (This power should be only used for positive spirit-led purposes…Pray for someone to have a Christ encounter through their dream.) At around the age of 14-15 I had become spiritually aware and female aware also, but had not encountered the Christ yet. There was a popular cute girl in my Junior High School that I was too shy to talk to, her name was Lois and she had a fraternal twin sister. Intuitively, I knew I could project myself into her dreams and cause her to see or experience whatever I desired. After telling her details of a few of her dreams about me…we became close friends.
I was almost 13 years old and just started Junior High School. I was the typical nerd-looking skinny kid, and probably more shy or introverted than most kids. I woke up from a dream, it was intense and I knew it was not just a random dream. I made up every excuse I could think of to not go to school, every sickness I could think of, I claimed that I might have it. My Mom saw through it and made me go anyways. Eye had seen a dream. It was 6th period, the class jock/bully decided to bully me as he had most of the kids and myself in class for weeks. I was filled with anger, then the dream skipped and fast forwarded to after school. I was fighting Rex, he was about 15-20 pounds heavier and taller than me. The kids were egging us on and I started losing the fight. I woke up filled with the emotions from the dream and did not want to go to school if I was going to lose the fight. Plus, I hated fighting and did everything possible to avoid them. To my recollection, this would be my first school fight. I shared the dream with no one and had never had an experience like this, but I knew it would happen as Eye had seen it. (It was many years later that I realized we could actually change some prophetic dreams through prayer or meditation — and of course, by avoiding the place or people seen in the dream.) 6th period came around and there was one more class I believe and school would be finished for the day. I dreaded going into the class room to sit beside Rex, the bully; especially that day. We had several classes together and he had not said anything out of the way all day. The teacher left the room and he decided to go around the room bullying (name calling, hitting with objects, etc) other kids and finally me. Today I wasn’t going to just ignore him and try to get my assignment done. I don’t remember what was said or how he started throwing small objects at me. I remember calmly getting up going to the pencil sharpener and making my pencil very sharp and coming back toward my desk and driving the pencil into his shoulder as far as I could, twisting it, breaking the lead off, as he screamed in agony and the kids looked on in shock. The teacher was entering the room at that time. I got sent to the Principal’s Office, while Rex got sent to the school nurse. Everyone knew Rex was a bully and had been in trouble many times at school. The Principal’s lecture and thick leather strap, 3 strikes on my palm was well worth it. I actually felt good about it and thought maybe there wouldn’t be a fight after school. Rex popular friends persuaded him he had to fight. Word had circulated what happened to him. The fight took place in the small open field near the school, exactly where Eye saw it. I could see the fear in his eyes, but he landed more solid punches in the short fight than I did, before it was broken up and he was declared the winner. That meant a lot to him, with the reputation of a school bully. It didn’t matter anymore that I lost the fight. Thank God for some adult stopping it or I might have gotten hurt. It was probably my fear of the fight and losing it that motivated my extreme action in 6th period; along with weeks of trying to act civilize and not go off. (Rex didn’t make it to school the next day, he had to get the lead out. I don’t remember talking to him again and he got transferred out of all my classes. From what I remember, he wasn’t as famous anymore for picking fights and bullying after that). Here’s the point: The emotions and inner knowing-ness I felt from that dream serves as an Emotional Template until this very day that helps me to discern my Prophetic dreams from Pizza dreams. Once you have a dream that comes to pass, you can always refer back to what you felt and the intuition that was associated with it. If you have a dream and experience the same levels of emotions and inner knowing, most likely Spirit is relating a message to you. Those emotions associated with the dream can be made up of fear, love, joy, anxiety, anger, excitement, etc.
Can we make some dreams, good or bad become self fulfilling prophetic dreams? Yes! Remember, my dream showed me the bullying in 6th period and me being filled with anger, but I did not see my preemptive actions. The dream skipped to the fight scene after school. Did my ‘fed up’ extreme actions actually lead to the fight after school or would there have been one anyway, since he enjoyed picking fights?? Was I not being shown something purposely that would lead to the fight? Did I create this out of fear? Or, was this one of those prophetic dreams that had to manifest as seen for several purposes? I think so, it had to manifest. Some things that are revealed will not and can not be changed. The ripple effect of how many lives will be affected and the outcome is necessary. Possibly Rex getting some pencil lead in the shoulder caused him to grow out of bullying others and may have saved him from a lead bullet in the future. Create a dream journal, analyze your dreams that have and have not materialized. Ask your Self, the Christ within, questions. Have fun with it. Program yourself to recall dream nightly by verbally giving yourself permission to remember your dreams. Stop confessing that you don’t dream, we all dream every night. Don’t fall asleep with the TV on. Relax. Breath deeply while falling into sleep, pray and meditate. Expect to remember your dreams.

Order of Melchizedek
The Cup-bearer and Baker both had dreams that were Symbolic Prophetic Dreams; however, these were not the multi-dimensional in nature. These were messages given by God in symbolic language that required an interpretation. The dreams were fulfilled in three days as the prophetic interpretation revealed.
It is my belief that All dreams of substance will fall somewhere between the above three examples (Direct/Literal Dreams, Prophetic Symbolic Dreams with various meaning, or Specific Symbolic Prophetic Dreams). This does not include pizza, burrito, filet minion, scary movies and CNN motivated dreams.
COMMON DREAMS /INTERPRETATIONS
The few examples that I list below will also fall in the categories above; however, these are more common dreams people have during various parts of their life. These dreams may happen more frequent in various forms as warnings, encouragement, and predictions. The short interpretations I give are basically from my frame of reference (study, experience, revelation etc.) I will give short positive/light and negative/dark possible meanings.
FLYING DREAMS = Spiritual momentum, faith, no limitations, overcoming, promotion, transcendence; new vision. OR, what or who are you trying to escape from? – what seems to be holding you down?
CAN I CONTROL MY DREAMS?
Yes. Although it appears that most time we may not have much control over when and what dream starts, yet we can control the dream. We all do this unconsciously from time to time; it is called “lucid dreaming”. You can develop the ability to become semi conscious of dreaming while dreaming and experience what you desire. These dreams are often in more color and detail since you have some control.
MATERIALIZATION & MANIFESTATION
The dream world is a real world that exists beyond the 3-dimensional reality. It is composed of electrical frequencies, impulses, spirit, mind stuff, bio-chemical stuff, unconscious insight and probably lots more that I don’t have a name for.
DREAM TRAVEL & VISITATIONS
The dream world is very fascinating and I think none of us yet know the power of it. It is the etheric realm of no borders or limitation. I often state that when God put Adam to sleep in Genesis, maybe he never woke up. There is no place saying that God woke him up. Could it be that we are all a part of this long dream and sometimes nightmare of the first human, Adam?
MY FIRST PROPHETIC DREAM
This dream is not something most of my elders would probably advise me to share, but I have always liked, “keeping it real,” as the saying goes. I learn from all my experiences positive and negative. People in ministry are also human and we have not always walked in the light and love that we believe we now walk in. Even while walking in measures of light and love, we sometime make poor choices.
DREAMS ULTIMATE PURPOSES
In Job 33 God states the ultimate purposes for dreams. Instruction, Change Us, Heal Us, Prosperity, Save our Soul (life), Joy, Restoration, Enlightenment, and Immortality (deliver us from death).
I love dreams. Eye have been shown many dreams.. hundreds that I have recorded & are so…. one that ima going to share is Eye have had 25 dreams of s innocent man being released from prison through false allegations. Eye even seen other people converted into the Lord Christ JESUS (YeHuSHUWa)… Eye seen this man who is currently in prison in the streets with another man who is currently not serving the Lord, a sibling of mine together with me declaring the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ with power & authority. Together the 3 of being used thru the Holy Spirit with supernatural power & manifestation of God. As we lifted our hands in the direction of some fellas who tried to attack us, this blue shield manifested out of our hands and about 15-20feet high & shielded us from the attack & they ran iff in confusion because God is our covering & shield. By the way in the natural, now this man in prison has had his conviction overturned… Eye expect him home serving with us before this next Feast of Tabernacles. Also my sibling has been changing and had attended our Passover Celebration and confessed to me that he felt the presence of God, “fire & pressure all over my body, like I never felt before”. And That he heard what was being spoken when the Prophet was praying in heavenly tounges. This was his first time visiting our meetings. Eye have had these dreams since November 2014 to March 2016. Father has also confirmed these same words thru visions of Prophet John, & 5 other seers not including myself of two whom are woman of God…. This brother was sentenced to almost 200 years in prison & He is coming home because Father says so. One of the woman had a dream of an innocent man who is in prison who is being released and He gave her a number. She flew in from Alabama to California my first time meeting her. She shared the vision. Eye told her I know what it means. The number she was given was the number of years he was sentenced.. Eye confirmed that the Lord had spoke to her as also Eye was given another confirmation of this awesome miracle & testimony… That man is now serving Lord Jesus Christ & preaching the gospel with authority & delegation of our Lord Christ Jesus. Pray so the Lord may accelerate the process of his release. Eye can’t wait to share his release. Praise God Bless u all in JESUS name.
Dreams are real and they are just an extension of your life in the unconscious state. So take them seriously as you get messages from the other world to govern your mission and life here on the planet called earth.
