SOME HISTORY OF ICELAND

According to Landn�mab�k, the settlement of Iceland began in AD 874 when the chieftain Ing�lfur Arnarson became the first permanent Norse settler on the island. Icelandic culture is founded upon the nation's Norse heritage. Most Icelanders are descendants of Norse (particularly from Western Norway) and Gaelic settlers.

Iceland has a free market economy with relatively low taxes compared to other OECD countries, while maintaining a Nordic welfare system providing universal health care and tertiary education for its citizens. In recent years, Iceland has been one of the wealthiest and most developed nations in the world. In 2011, it was ranked as the 14th most developed country in the world by the United Nations' Human Development Index, and the fourth most productive country per capita. Icelanders who pelted parliament with rocks in 2009 demanding their leaders and bankers answer for the country�s economic and financial collapse are reaping the benefits of their anger. The nations Mortgage Debt has been forgiven.

ANOTHER PROPHETIC CONNECTION WITH ICELAND

While absorbing the magnitude of the Mortgage Debt Cancellation given to Iceland and rejoicing, Eye was moved to find Iceland's Coat of Arm. Strangely, eye knew there had to be a dragon connection.

This is the Year of the Dragon, symbolizing the release of Prosperity, Wealth, Blessings, Wisdom and many other wonderful things. I feel we are being given a strong prophetic message with what's happening in Iceland. Eye expect similar things to happen in our country in the near future.

You might remember that on January 24, 2012 blog, during our "Dragon" series; we posed a prophetic question and statement. "Do you think we have the power to summon creatures from the deep or other dimensions? When you see the news report, this question will come to your mind." 15 days later a Giant Serpentine Creature was reported to have been captured on film in Iceland and made International Headline News. The sighting of this creature served as a sign on various levels. The one that's important now is it foreshadowed soon coming Prosperity to Icelanders. 66 days from the publicized sighting.

ICELAND'S MYSTERIOUS COAT OF ARMS

As I researched the origins of Iceland Coat of Arms, I became even more intrigued. I am sure that many of you will also. It is a story steeped in mysticism, magic, espionage and shape-shifting. Perhaps I find these types of stories more intriguing than most, because I can identify with them.

Being raised in an environment where it was common to see and talk about paranormal activity, supernatural things - living and ministering in our Native Indian reservations, I have been blessed to see and experience many almost unbelievable things. Here's a story of the King of Denmark wanting to spy out the northern regions near the Artic Circle. Does he send a Naval Fleet, or his best soldiers? No. He calls upon the local Shaman (prophet) that has the ability to shape-shift and turn himself into a whale, to spy out the land and its inhabitants. Utterly fascinating.

�King Harald [Gormsson of Denmark] told a man versed in magic to travel to Iceland in a different shape and find out what he could learn there to tell him. The man set out in the shape of a whale. And when he approached land he headed west along the north coast. He saw that all the mountains and hills were full of land spirits, some large and some small. Off Vopnafj�r�ur he entered the fjord, intending to go ashore. Then a huge dragon came down along the valley with a train of serpents, insects and toads breathing poison over him. He fled and went westward off the coast as far as Eyjafj�r�ur and went into the fjord there. Then a bird flew towards that was so great that its wings spread over the mountains on either side of the fjord, and many other birds with it, large and small. He left there and continued westwards, then turned south into Brei�afj�r�ur, and headed for the fjord. A large bull came towards him there, waded into the sea and began to bellow menacingly. A band of land spirits followed it. He headed south from there around Reykjanes and tried to go ashore at Vikarsskei�. A mountain giant came towards him there with an iron staff in its hands and its head higher than the mountains, and many other giants were with it. From there he went eastwards the length of the land, but �there was nothing but sand and deserts, and surf off the shore, with such a vast sea between the parts of land,� he said, �that a longship could not cross it.�

On February 12, 1919 an emblem was adopted showing the flag of Iceland on a shield. The royal decree on the coat of arms is as follows: �The Icelandic coat of arms shall be a crowned shield charged with the flag of Iceland. There are many messages in this Coat of Arms. Notice how the images surround the Cross. This is highly astrological. The Cross is called the Grand Cross in Astrology-it is above our heads in space. 90 degrees apart are the 4-fixed Zodiac signs that forms the Grand Cross. These are also mentioned in Ezekiel and Revelation, they are called the Cherubim, around the throne.

On Iceland's Coat of Arms, they are basically all there - Face of a Man (Aquarius)- the Giant. Face of a Bull (Taurus) - the Bull. Face of an Eagle (Scorpio-older maps of the heavens show an eagle in Scorpio) - the Bird. Finally, there is the Face of the Lion (Leo - in Leo, there is Hydra, a Giant Water Serpent with many heads) - the Dragon. (Further research show that at one time the lion was a part of the Coat of Arms).
