The Bible teaches us that Creator God breathed into man the breath of life and he became a living soul. Humans are multi-dimensional beings, created in the image and likeness of the Creator. Of course, there are those that firmly believe that humans are just complex biological material that have evolved over many years. Thus, we have no soul or spirit, the most important two thirds of our being doesn't exist. You are only a body with a complex brain, they believe.

When a person physically dies, that is the end, they say. Is it the end? Is there not a soul and spirit in the human body? Is there no afterlife? Is the Bible just a book of myths as so many think?

Is there something more to humans beyond the physical? If so, has our science and technology evolved enough to prove what this ancient book called the Bible states?

A SHORT DETOUR DOWN MEMORY LANE TO SEDGE WAY

I remember just over a decade ago being asked to speak at a University in western Siberia, Russia. It was filled with brilliant young minds, but darkened minds. I really wasn't asked, I was told that arrangements had been made when I arrived in that town. Plus, we had less than an hour to freshen up and leave, after driving many hours.

They came to hear an American speak and to mock how someone could be so stupid to believe in a Creator God, something that you can not see and could not be scientifically proven. Long story short, thank God for the Holy Spirit, the ability to hear his Voice and the obedience to do something prophetic, unscripted, spontaneously and that didn't make a lot of sense to the natural mind.

After my Spirit inspired demonstration of turning all the lights off, to boldly demonstrate the darkness in their minds, I did not have a PA system to amplify my voice. I had to shout and yell the Good News with my interpreter, until my voice was hoarse, in the dark. At the end of my short message, I challenged them to publicly accept the God of love, Jesus whom I preach. I had told them that the real person they are (spirit/soul) would remain darkened as the room, until they believe in the True Light that lights every mans hearts. As the house lights were turned back on; their lights came on. Before me was an auditorium of un-churched young adults crying and vibrating with the power of God on them. My team and I went throughout laying our hands on everyone. Ahhh, how I miss those glory filled days in Russia. Бог благослови мою навсегда русский народ, аминь.

I have really been impressed with the Russian scientists and physicists over the past several years. They are at the forefront of boldly connecting neo-science with spirituality. It was not that long ago that Russia and much of the Soviet Union were considered atheists countries. Their scientists and leaders had declared, "There is no God." Science, military might and intellect had become their gods. Over the years there has been a complete turn around, as science is indeed proving Intelligent Design and a realm that exist beyond the 3 dimensional human experience. The Russian scientists seem to be more bolder than those of the West to acknowledge and incorporate spirituality into science. "The first shall be last and the last shall be the first."
