TESHUVAH (RETURN)

"When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn (teshuvah) to the Lord your God and obey His voice (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them." And you shall return (teshuvah) unto the LORD thy God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, you and your children, with all thine heart, and with all your soul..." Deuteronomy 4:30-31, 30:2

SET TIMES

The 7th month has come and the high feast days are upon us. This is the season of RETURN (Teshuvah). The 1st day of the 7th month Tishrei is also called Yom Teruah - the day of return. This gives the idea of the shofar's blast awakening and calling us to RETURN (Teshuvah) to God.

Teshuvah means Repentance, atoning; turning from sin and returning to the Creator, restore, NEW BEGINNING. During the 10 days of Awe, from Tishrei 1 - 10 (7 more days) are days of Returning or turning within and realizing our At-ONE-ment. We are fully aware that there is no place where the Supreme Being we call God is not. There is no place we can escape from that Awesome Presence, because He is always Present and there is only NOW. Nevertheless, the Creator has set up a system in conjunction with what we call "time." In this divine system are cycles or "set times," subtle energies are permeating the planet for the benefit of all humanity. As we learn to become sensitive to these energies which are connected to the Divine Calendar and Feast days; we ascend and access higher levels of consciousness.

"You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come." Psalms 102:13

Sin only means, to miss the mark, target. It is much deeper than moral misbehavior; it goes into our biological and energetic make up. The outward behaviors or actions we call sins are only a metaphor for what is actually being dealt with that's not so obvious. Many that understand this principle misused it and excuse themselves from overcoming the illusionary carnal nature. If we can not deal with the outer shallow reality, how then can we handle the true deeper reality.

DUALITY OR REALITY?

The things that manifest as weaknesses, faults, sins, habits, or behaviors have much deeper energetic connections. If we choose to ignore, make excuses for, cover with fig leaves and mis-apply Grace; they will only manifest in the physical, emotional or mental body as illnesses and disorders. (We realize illnesses can also develop from environment, accidents and genetics; this is not what we are speaking of. However, everything in the universe has an energetic connection at some level).

The Creator has so designed the body human in such a high tech fashion that absolutely nothing can be successfully ignored. Your body (behavior, emotions, actions, etc) is the Canaan land that must be conquered before it is transformed into your Promised Land, the rest. Corruption must dissolve into incorruption - mortality must be absorbed into immortality. The "sin" must be transmuted into food for the righteousness you are. The giants do not disappear by pretending they are not there. Joshua and Caleb said, "they will be food for us." Use the challenges as opportunities for empowerment and change.

Throughout the year, daily, we should be shedding off the old and being renewed in the spirit of our mind. Apostle Paul said "I die daily." We are not speaking of in the religious sense of legalism. This is an awareness that there is only Christ, but yet in that awareness, there is the "process" to totally realizing or manifesting ONEness or At-ONE-ment. Some would think this is duality, it is Only Reality.

LEGALISM & disGRACE

Due to the lack of understanding how to "rightly divide" the words of truth, many have gone to extremes. The legalistic are filled with works, trying to attain by religious fleshly means, something they already have. They don't realize, It Is Finished! Therefore, their main focus is on "sin" or not sinning, thus, attracting more of what they call sin to them. This produces a life of guilt, condemnation and fear of an angry God waiting to throw someone into the oven.

Many "non-religious" progressives have gone to the opposite extreme; they live, speak and behave as the children of darkness. They "do" absolutely nothing, because they "BE"-lieve, It Is Finished! No need to assemble, fast, pray, meditate; they arrogantly and ignorantly proclaim. Their main focus is on "grace," because the Lamb of God took away the sins of the world. Due to an out of balance understanding of grace, some seem to spiral into "disgrace." Others have no power or anointing to support the revelation they speak about.

The Father realized that humans would be prone to extremes and misinterpreting the Book. He set aside a special time of the year and commanded all the sons to assemble. As stated earlier, the first 10 days of Tishrei, the 7th month are set aside for deep introspection, going within and not hiding from our own flesh. If you don't go within, you will go without. On some level or other you will find yourself lacking (missing the mark more frequently), not finding the power to walk in victory. The victory that's more than a confession, but a reality that bears fruit.

The shofar has sounded to awaken us to return to innocence, purity and wHol-Eye-ness. Teshuvah! Turn! "When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice He will not forsake you."

ARE YOU DEAD YET?

"Eye Am crucified with Christ." This is our reality as we move closer to the high feast days and the day of AT-ONE-MENT.

I experienced a very strong attack on the 1st day of the 7th month, the accuser of the brethren decided to go all out, seemingly out of the blue with false accusations. I thank God, because I got to see a part of me that needs to be placed on the cross (crossed out) and areas that need to be rebuilt. Teshuvah is very real to me at this time. I have talked to other people over the past day or so that were also given the opportunity to walk in Adam or Christ with testing situations.

I remember an old Preacher said this to me many years ago during a wake service. "Son, you see that dead body? It's dead, you can spit on it, you can hit it, you can cuss at it and say anything you want to it and it will not respond. It's dead, and that's the way we must become to this world and things that come against you..."
