ZOBIA IS GOING TO PAKISTAN

Some of you from Washington State, where we used to live and from other parts have been asking about current photos of us. I am camera shy, plus don't like being limited to a visual expression and not nearly as photogenic as Zobia. So here's (2) current photos of Zobia in our backyard. Many of you we have not seen in over 5 years and most of you that read our blogs have never met us in the flesh, only in spirit. Isn't she beautiful? She's not only beautiful; she loves God/Father and spirituality. I met Zobia while on a mission trip ministering in Lahore, Pakistan over 7 years ago. As most of you know, we now have (2) sons, Jeremiel 2 and 1/2 years old and Zarius will be 6 years old in a few days.

The photo on the left reflects her western attire. The one on the right with the head covering is a modern traditional dress from Pakistan. Zobia looks great in anything, but I am personally attracted to the colorful "Shalwar Kameez" (traditional dress).

Zobia has recently become a US citizen, she has not seen her family in over 6 years, however, late December-early January, we are planning that she will be traveling to Pakistan. We are waiting for her US Passport and will apply for her travel visa soon after. She feels it's time to return for a visit and to share her spirituality. Pakistan is a 98% Muslim country. The official language of Pakistan is Urdu, it is a Semitic language made up of Arabic, Persian (Iranian) & Turkic - basically the same as the Hindi language spoken in India. Her provincial language is Punjabi, Zobia speaks both Urdu and Punjabi.

If you are aware of the news, you know that Pakistan is a very dangerous place; it's become a war zone in many parts. By the grace of God, her family has not been injured or directed affected and the ministries we work with there have been preserved for the most part. There are bombings, radical Muslim suicide bombers, US CIA Drones killing randomly, CIA inspired civil unrest and many other things we know of that you wont see reported in American news. Pakistan is yet on the "Do Not Travel List" for Americans. This means, travel at your own risk; your government may not be there for you. When I applied for a travel-visa several years ago, it was a requirement by the government for me to have my own security detail, while speaking in public gatherings; if I were to travel there. I did not feel it was necessary, but we complied. It felt kind of strange being escorted by brothers with sub-machine guns (Uzi) and other weapons all the time. Nevertheless, we are thankful to be able to call forth God's sons and daughters in these troubled nations. Here's a map of Pakistan and surrounding countries:

We are involved with and support ministry in Karachi, on the Arabian Sea; Lahore, where Zobia is from and in the extremely poor interior province of Sindh. Pakistan borders Iran, Afghanistan, India and China. Zobia will be traveling alone to Pakistan this trip, I will be home with the kids for a few weeks or so. She feels good about the trip. There are a few reasons I can not travel abroad at this time, plus, we feel our kids are too young to be exposed to the potential dangers in a war zone.

Zobia will be having a long overdue visit with her family, but this is also set to be a first mission trip for her. She will be sharing many things that she has learned and experienced, plus providing material/financial assistance from our ministry to the suffering saints we work with there. The poor Believers and Muslims are always anxious to hear good news about a loving, forgiving God/Creator. Also, many of her female Muslim clients (Massage Therapy clients) are anxious for her return.

There are many things we need to accomplish to make this trip a success and meet our mission goals. For those of you that have ever been directly involved with foreign missions/humanitarian work in poor countries; especially where there is persecution - you understand that the Believers there depend on us, as an infant depends on her mother for nourishment. It is only natural for a parent to feel responsible for the children she has given birth to. Father has blessed Age To Age Ministries to give spiritual birth (awaken) many in various nations we have gone to.

HERE IS THE PLAN WE HAVE PRAYED ABOUT

We are bringing this to the Body of Christ, as was scripturally done by the early Church (People of the Way). We are planning to purchase Zobia's ticket by the 1st week of December(expecting her Passport to be done by then). We want to avoid the increased price hike on international travels and the increased holiday rates. We also plan by the grace of God to financially assist with the suffering persecuted part of the Body of Christ in Pakistan. I have had the honor of serving them over 7 years. However, very limited as of late; mostly via webcam, email, contributions and phone.

We want to give you an opportunity to be a part of this by making a Tax Deductible Donation to Age To Age Ministries Int'l. (Checks or money orders must be made out to the ministry name). Pray or meditate about this, Father/Mother God will tell you what to do and Just Do It, according to your ability and passion. We are believing for a certain amount for the work of the ministry by early December. Most of all, Pray for Zobia's trip/mission and safe return.
