Thankfully I am back home now after being stranded since Sunday. First of all, we are yet praying for all the victims of Hurricane Harvey, those who lost loved ones, and property. God is our refuge and strength. Nothing can happen unless the Yahweh reveals it first to his servants the prophets. “Certainly the sovereign LORD (Yahweh) does nothing without first revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7 This means that nothing is allowed to happen on the planet before Yahweh first reveals His secret plans or unknown events to His servants the prophets. Why does Yahweh first reveal? There are many reasons why, here are 5 of them. 1) The prophets have to announce on earth so there can be a witness in heaven and on earth. 2) To create intercession, repentance. 3) To possibly stop, delay or soften the impact of the event. 4) To show that there is a God that knows all things and can reveal. 5) So that God may be glorified. The highly prophetic America’s Great Total Eclipse seen across America was yesterday, at the end of the 5th month, Av. (We are encouraging everyone for the next 40 days to enter into place of prayer, repentance specifically for our nation. It is a very crucial time.) We have come unto the 6th month according to the ancient lunar-solar Biblical Calendar, counting from Nisan (March/April). This month is called ELUL. Throughout the Bible we see various clues when a “spiritual revival” was about to take place or was taking place. I hear ministers and Christian people often talk about the need for a Revival in our nation, people turning to God or those fallen away turning back to God. The airways of radio, TV and satellite broadcast are filled with words, and frequencies of those crying out for revival. Some especially in the ‘Bible Belt’ region yet even practice the powerful ancient art of fasting and prayer for revival. Thank God. Sunday after Sunday the doors of the Churches are open at places of worship. From the few that gather in homes or Store Fronts, others at Elementary Schools, Church buildings, or to the huge Mega Campuses; where thousands gathers multiple times on Sunday to accommodate the crowd. The tears streaming down their faces during worship or prayer, begging God for revival. “Change our nation, help us, send revival again,” they cry. But what does revival look like? Is it the high energy meetings (which I love) of rejoicing, prophesying and miracles? Is it the great singing and best most anointed musicians on the planet and scripted meetings?
