Things are not always as they appear to be in life. We are finding out so many things that were purposely omitted, hidden and forbidden to speak of in history. Visualize this: Yahushua (Jesus) has just left the Temple. It was not like one of those Sabbath, Weekly or Sunday services that ended with extreme joy, shouting, dancing and lots of excitement. It was not even one of the supernatural kind of meetings, where the lame walked, dead raised, demons exorcised or lots of people repented. Those types of things were common as he preached and demonstrated the unlimited power of God. However, on that specific day, he gave the people a reality check. It was a message targeted for the preachers, teachers and religious/political leaders and their denominations. What were the ancient denominational type of groups called 2000 years ago in Judea? Pharisees – they were similar to many of the arrogant Charismatic & Pentecostal Evangelicals today. They are “Fair you see” = Pharisee. They believed in the full gospel, the supernatural and talk about love a lot- they thought that they were alright. Saducees – they were similar to the ‘traditionally’ dead Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran (other non-Spirit-filled Churches) Evangelicals today. They are “Sad you see”= Saducee. I have loved music since I can remember. As a child, we had this huge radio that was almost like a piece of furniture, it was a short wave type radio with possibly a world band on it. It could pick up the frequencies from radio stations around the world. Late nights I would often sneak and listen and experience the music from all over the world; knowing that one day I would travel to many of those lands. I could not understand the languages, but I could feel the music, experience it and appreciate it. Often, I’d fall asleep in the big chair near the radio and wake up early morning before anyone else to escape back to my bed; without anyone knowing. In our music class at home, as I teach my sons, I always stress to them the importance of feeling the music and actually experiencing it. Music is powerful, it can bring enlightenment, healing, deliverance and open prophetic direction. We see this mentioned in the Bible many time. The Creator expresses the importance of coming into His Presence with thanksgiving, praise and using music (musical instruments). Throughout the book of Psalms, we find David and other writer using the world “Selah.” One of the definitions for “selah” means to repeat over and over again. The purpose for this was to interact with the brain wave patterns and body rhythms, thus, altering them. FEAST OF PENTECOST This is the Feast of Pentecost celebration – a Harvest Festival. This is the 2nd Major Feast on the Hebrew Calendar, and the last of the Spring Feasts. These Feasts are God’s Prophetic Calendar of events, for they show exactly where we are on God’s clock, and what He is doing in the realm of time. Those that would be wise should learn them and keep them. 3 – FEASTS OR EXPERIENCES God sums up the 7 Feasts that He gave to ancient Israel to 3-major experiences. This 3-dimensional principle is played out over and over throughout scripture. “Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread (Passover), and in the feast of weeks (Pentecost), and in the feast of tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the LORD empty”. Not long ago, I was invited to a Prayer Meeting at a Church. I normally enjoy the corporate prayers of the righteous agreeing on one thing, shouting out declarations with intense emotions and Spirit-filled. I have always loved communing with the Creator since my adolescent years and I must say that I commune – pray daily. However, I must also confess that I don’t pray nearly as much as I would like to in focused, uninterrupted, fervent, devil binding, totally caught up in/with Him types of prayer. I pray as I drive, wash dishes, laundry, shop, shower, watch a movie and also totally un-distracted alone time with Him. The Prayer Meeting was going well and the Holy Spirit was moving, at least for me, as we prayed earnestly to be the Christ example, prayed for suffering people in the church, etc. Then a young woman decided now was the time to pray for our nation and Israel. “Israel first, the Jew first, then the gentile,” she shouted, with tears in her eyes and a quivering voice.
