The Sun has now moved into the Zodiac sign of Cancer, as of June 21 and will stay there until July 22. Cancer symbol is the pincher, or the CRAB. In the Egyptian records of about 2000 BC it was described as Scarabaeus (Scarab), the sacred emblem of immortality. In the Bible the tribe of Issachar was assigned to the Zodiac sign of Cancer. (The 12 Zodiac signs were assigned to the 12 tribes of ancient Israel, led by the 12 sons of Jacob. Of course, there was and is the hidden 13th Zodiac sign, which was assigned to the one daughter of Jacob- Dinah).

 

  

Jacob was over 80 years old when Issachar was born. Rachel’s scheme backfired when she promised Leah that Jacob could sleep with her in exchange for Reuben’s mandrakes that he found during the wheat harvest (Pentecost-Gemini). The mandrake root in a tea serves as a natural aphrodisiac and fertility supplement, the psychoactive substances can also create hallucinations, plus, it is used in magic for casting spells. Mandrakes have been used for mainly these purposes for thousands of years.

After the experiment with mandrakes, Leah bore (3) more kids with Jacob. Rachel finally bore her first son Joseph. Yet competing with her older sister, she delivered a prophetic one-two set of punches, declaring, that God would add another son= (Joseph) to her. She was correct, she did have one more son called Benjamin (son of authority-right hand), as she died in child birth. Challenges and suffering sometimes produces empowerment and authority. Rachel is a prime example of faith and patience, and proof that Delay does not necessarily mean Denied.

ISSACHAR WAS ASSIGNED TO THE ZODIAC SIGN CANCER

Jacob’s son Issachar was not born while the Sun was in Cancer. He was conceived during the wheat harvest, which would be during the Feast of Pentecost- the Sun is in Gemini (May-June) during Pentecost. So Issachar was most likely born while the Sun was in Pisces, 9 months later. We bring up this point to show that the naming and assigning of the 12 sons of Jacob to the 12 Zodiac signs were not based on birth order or birth date, as has been erroneously thought. Rather, the assignment had more to do with the naming and the prophetic utterances by Jacob and later echoed by Moses.

“Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: and he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.” Genesis 49:14-15

“And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents. They will call peoples to the mountain; There they will offer righteous sacrifices; For they will draw out the abundance of the seas, And the hidden treasures of the sand.” Deuteronomy 33:18-19

A few clues in the verses above confirms that Cancer the Crab was assigned to Issachar, we have highlighted a few words. The word “strong” in this specific verse is “gheh-rem” which mean bone, bare bone (skeleton of the body), skeleton like.

A Crab is an exoskeleton crustacean (bare bone or shows its skeleton on the outside). Another clue that Moses gave was, “hidden treasures in the sand.” Crabs are often hidden in the sand. The sign Cancer element is water, as the prophecies above point to.

BIRTHING THE ISSACHAR ANOINTING

Each of the sons of Jacob correlate with the 12 signs of the Zodiac, which can holds limitless possibilities of revelation knowledge. However, we only want to point out some basic messages here.

Issachar was conceived during a time of great testing and challenges for his mother Leah. She had experienced great rejection, ridicule and felt that she was a woman scorned. She had bore the burden of having weak eyes all her life and was not as attractive as her younger sister. She felt cheated and wronged, her one goal in life, seemed to have escaped her. It was not until Reuben, her oldest son brought the mandrakes, the power for procreation into her home; that she felt hope again.

What is the Issachar anointing? First of all, the anointing is the endowment and ability to function in specific capacities. It is the smearing of the essence of the Divine on human form to perform as Divine.

Looking at the prophetic blessing spoke forth by Jacob and Moses in the verses above gives us many clues of what would make the tribe of Issachar stand out from the other tribes. All the tribes were uniquely endowed. The clues of this prophetic blessing is not limited to Issachar, but is also relevant for those born under the zodiac sign of Cancer. One step further, is to realize these attributes lay dormant in all of us.

ANOINTED TO GENERATE WEALTH

A true Issacharian/Cancer person has an anointing and ability to generate wealth. The allotment of the tribe of Issachar was the most fertile land in all of Israel. Plus, they had access to the Mediterranean Sea. The prophecy stated, “For they will draw out the abundance of the seas, And the hidden treasures of the sand.” Deuteronomy 33:19

The tribe of Issachar became the literal bread basket for the nation of Israel and also provided a lot of their seas food. The Issachar Anointing, is the anointing to Prosper and prosper for the sake of being a blessing to others. When people born under this sign are operating in accord with universal laws and principles, they become kingdom financiers. The law of Abundance readily works in their favor, because they readily distribute it to others.

“Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: and he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant…and became a servant unto tribute.” Genesis 49:14-15

The key to unlimited abundance is serving others, giving and bearing the burden of others. This is the Issachar Anointing that opens you the windows of heaven and pour you out unlimited blessings and opportunities.

ANOINTED TO COMMUNICATION

The Issachar Anointing gives you the ability to communicate. Most people born between June 21 – July 22 are natural communicators and may find themselves working in jobs or career that gives them the opportunity to speak, teach, preach, or train others. “When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: … and Issachar…” Deuteronomy 27:12

Issachar was chosen as one of the tribes to offer spiritual blessings, to speak over and release the blessings upon the people. People born under the sign of Cancer can be super-sensitive and easily hurt. However, their sensitivity and life challenges gives them a deeper level of concern and compassion, that helps them easily bear the burdens of others.

ANOINTED TO UNDERSTAND THE TIMES & KNOW

“Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.” 1 Chronicles 12:32

This is the powerful verse that was given to us many years ago, as we tried to explain and often vehemently defend what we were called to do. It is yet foreign to many that don’t quite understand what has been termed the 5-fold ministry. Most are accustomed to ministry from the offices of Pastor, Teacher, Evangelist. Some are acquainted with Apostolic ministry, but the Prophetic office yet remains a mystery to many. Plus, it has been limited to personal fortune telling by many.

The sons of Issachar were astronomers and divine astrologers. They kept track of the seasons and times, and were able to interpret the energy in space and how it would affect the earth. They understood the mystery of times and seasons. They were the keepers of the sacred Calendar and knew how to unravel the mysteries of the 7 feast from an astrological perspective. When one learns to discern and work with the energetic frequencies of times, everything comes into balance. The sons of Issachar were masters at this. They became the “prophetic tribe” endowed with the ability to SEE.

“Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens: and he saw …” Genesis 49:14 Saw, means to advise self, appear, behold and discern. The Issachar Anointing is the ability to see (Eye See). It is the Seer Anointing.

This anointing is not cheap, the gifts are freely given, but don’t be fooled, there is a price to pay. There must be the crouching down underneath the burden to bring the sons or daughters of Issachar into complete submission. The traumas of life must seemingly touch your bare bone, turning the Initiate inside out; exoskeleton as the crab. This is necessary, the purpose is to dig out the treasures hidden deep within, underneath the shifting sands of human consciousness.

“…and bowed his shoulder to bear..” Genesis 49:15 This is the seemingly weight of the world that must be carried by the Issachar Company. This weight forces the true son of Issachar to his knees in travail and prophetic intercession.

The Issachar Anointing produces UNITY. During Israel’s first civil war, all the other tribes were in disarray and could not decide who to support. Some were in support of the the Old Order- Saul, while others saw the New Order – David. The tribe of Issachar was the only tribe that had it together. “..their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command.” 1 Chronicles 12:32

Why were they so unified and able to work together? “The sons of Issachar were men who understood the times, and had knowledge of what Israel should do.” They had foresight. They understood exactly what time it was. It was time for David to take the throne and establish the kingdom of God on earth.

The Issachar Anointing is so badly needed today.  Each election season is filled with chaos among the house of Israel (USA) and the people of God don’t know what to do.   Most have no discernment or foresight, therefore, fear, negativity and division  rule the lives of many.  They vote based on distorted petty theological views rooted in fear.  They judge by outward appearances and fail to see the big picture.

The tribe of Issachar was a humble tribe and a generous tribe. God entrusted them with His spiritual riches, because they knew how to handle and distribute the natural riches. There are many that want the spiritual riches and want to function at a high or deep level in revelatory or prophetic gifts. There is a universal key that unlocks that door, it is simple, but very difficult for many.

 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches (spiritual wealth)?”  Luke 16:10-11

SONS OF ISSACHAR, COME FORTH

The Issachar Anointing is conceived during a time to great challenges, trials, rejection, ridicule and sometimes overwhelming responsibilities; as was with Leah. This conception usually happens during the season of Pentecost or a Pentecostal experience, aided by a Reuben (son=mature one) ministering, activating, or imparting the seer seed into your life.

There will be those that will try to cunningly take what you have receive, as did Rachel with Leah. There will be others (family members, family of Believers) that will scheme, and discourage the Issachar that’s about to come forth.

The humble, hidden prophetic intercessors (light-workers), sons of Issachar are called to center stage during the time of crisis. There was war, a time of great transition, and the ending of an old non-functioning oppressive order of Saul (who was anointed at Pentecost with a vial-limited anointing), plagued by demons. So it is today, that’s why the Issachar Anointing is increasing and necessary.

Leah paid a price, that’s why she called him Issachar. Contrary to popular progressive theology; you will not manifest this (abundance, supernatural, prophetic insight) or experience this by sitting down twittering your thumbs doing nothing and quoting, “it is finished.”    The distortion of that teaching has produced a generation of lethargic, clueless,  and powerless Believers; that deceive themselves and others into believing they have it.  Where is the Fruit!!!   What we call salvation, is free; everything else, there is a price – your life must become  a living SACRIFICE. We must become Actively involved with and participate in our spiritual development; otherwise, we will remain spiritual infants for 10, 20, 30, 50 years.  Yet rightfully confessing it is it’s all within us, but never unlocking and manifesting the fruit of it.

I call forth the Issachar Anointing in you. May you See and Know what to do in every situation. May you Understand the times and seasons for your personal life and corporately. May you experience Abundance and generate wealth and be generous. May the word of Yahweh flow out of your being to bless and boldly communicate His plan to all you meet. As a crab, may you lay hold to the kingdom of God, to possess it forever and ever. Amen.
