Go To Hell !!!

Go To Hell !!!

“Go to hell” is a phrase used normally when someone is very angry and don’t want to see that person again. It is also used by Christians when the target of their evangelism rejects their presentation of a Loving Being called God, our Creator (Father). However, He seems to be a psychopath with a split personality and can easily become a sadist or terrorist, torturing you with literal fire forever and ever for just one little mistake (sin).

I have heard this word “Hell” since I was a child and read it in the Bible. Due to my strict Baptist upbringing and deep respect for my elders, I would not even use this word in front of adults. Instead, I would say “the place down there,” or “where the devil lives.” Actually, I was well into my late teen years before I remember using this word even in a religious discussion in front of my family.

Something about this place called “Hell” seemed to strike fear in my heart. As a child, whenever I had misbehaved and my explanation was not believable, my grandmother would remind me that “all liars will go to Hell.” On several occasions, my explanation did change immediately, because I did not want to die and go to Hell.

In the South among some of the Baptist Churches, it was a yearly routine to have revival meetings. All the sinners (those that had not been baptized) had to sit on the front row to hear a message of fire and brimstone night after night, coupled with John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” They said, “You have got to get religion,” this is equivalent to being born again. However, you could not get off that front row and join the Church until you ‘got religion.’

In the Church, I went to, getting religion meant that you broke down in tears repenting for your sins, shook with violent emotions, or got the hell scared out of you through the preaching. I was around 12 years old when my mother thought I needed to ‘get religion;’ although, I didn’t think I was a bad kid. Night after night listening I sat there in bewilderment; everyone around me was getting religion and being saved from Hell but me. I did not shake or cry; although, I began to feel bad after hearing so many sermons telling me how good for nothing I was, even though I was just a kid. Finally, one night I had had enough, I wanted to join the church, so I wouldn’t go to Hell. I was so scared, I think I would have confessed that Elvis or anybody they told me was LORD that night.

Years later after going through a living Hell, I was invited to a Pentecostal Church, this is where I really got religion, and born again. But there was the Hell issue, my spirituality was motivated by fear of Him that had died for me. This seems to be the experience of over 80% of Christianity. The religious leaders justify this cruel tactic by saying, “I rather you are Hell scared than Hell burnt.” I also adopted that phrase early on during evangelism.

(A SKIT I WROTE MANY YEARS AGO) – DIALOG BETWEEN STUDENT & TEACHER

STUDENT QUESTION: Isn’t Hell a literal place with real fire that God created for Satan, all sinners and non-Christians?

TEACHER: The doctrine of Hell and eternal punishment is not a scripture doctrine. There is no place in the center of the Earth, where bad people and non Christians go forever. This is a doctrine that was created to control and manipulate the masses. During the Middles Ages this doctrine was preached to keep the people dependent on the Roman Church. In the 5th century, the doctrine of a literal heaven and Hell was adopted as canon by the Church through Augustus.

The hell that you are thinking that the scriptures are referring to is not in a far away place, it is right between your ears. It is the lifestyle and thinking that alienates one from the freedom and happiness the Creator desired for us all to experience. When you are not walking in God Consciousness or living your life to only satisfy the ego, that’s Hell.

STUDENT COMMENT: This does not sound right, it sounds like a Jehovah’s Witness teaching.

TEACHER: Truth is not limited to what you consider to be right or Christian; it is available to all that seek. It does not sound right, because the err of your previous teachings are in conflict with present truth.

Humans tend to create God into their own image and likeness. What I mean by that is, when someone offends them, disappoints them and fails to rise to their standard; they immediately want to fall out of relationship and judge them. Christianity teaches that God is the same way, but that is not true.

STUDENT QUESTION:
So are you going against the word of God and saying there is no Hell? Why should I listen to you, all the preachers on TV and radio preach a literal Hell?

TEACHER: No, I am not going against the word of God and THERE IS A Hell. In the Old Testament, the word for Hell is “she-owl” which only means the grave or pit. Nowhere in the original text does it define Hell as a place, where people are tortured forever and ever. So yes, I believe in the Hell the Bible speaks about, but not the one created by religion.

You must also remember that God speaks in parabolic language, in types and shadows; to relate His message to us. The natural mind cannot understand this language and it will interpret a simple truth to mean something totally different.

In the New Testament the word “Hell” is used 23x. 12x the Greek word “ge-henna” is used. Gehenna was only a garbage dump outside of Jerusalem. When Jesus spoke about Hell the people understood He was talking about the garbage dump. Jesus often used his surroundings, something the people were familiar with to relate truth.

Gehenna was a place of continuous burning (seemingly eternal fire) because of the garbage being burned. It was a place where the worms did not die, because of the flies and maggots eating the garbage. It was the place of weeping and grinding of teeth, because the Sanhedrin (Supreme Court) executed some of the criminals there, by stoning them to death. See Matthew 5. In the Old Testament it was called the Valley of Hinnom. This was the place of the continuous fire. It was the worst place for a Jew to be executed.

STUDENT QUESTION: Why?

TEACHER: The pagans sacrificed their children to the god Molech, the fire god to appease him. It was also called the Valley of Slaughter. Notice it was a valley, a crater like lower region; this is why people always refer to Hell as being below.

“They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire– SOMETHING I DID NOT COMMAND, NOR DID IT ENTER MY MIND. So beware, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.” Jeremiah 7:31-32

Take notice, God said, the thought to burn people in literal fire NEVER ENTERED HIS MIND. So where did it come from if it did not come from God? It came from the unenlightened mind of man that enjoys seeing suffering and pain. Just stop and think about that for a moment. God said, “IT NEVER ENTERED MY MIND, NOR DID I REQUIRE OR COMMAND THIS.”

Do you really think that God, our Father is a Sadist?

STUDENT COMMENT:
Wait, I am getting confused. I have never thought of it this way. I mean, this truth destroys everything I have been taught about God and Hell.

TEACHER: Let me give you a little more information. In the New Testament the Greek word “hades” is translated to the English word Hell 10x. The definition for hades is; the realm of the dead, the grave, the unseen. In no place did it refer to a literal place, where people burn forever and ever.

However, the Greeks who were steep in mythology had a god named Hades (hell), he was the god of the underworld in their belief, and he was assigned to the planet Pluto. In Greek mythology, Hades made the final resting place of the wicked very uncomfortable, but this was never a Christian or Biblical doctrine until people started to leave the Roman Church. That is the same fear tactic used today by many religious leaders to keep people in the religious prison camps called churches. I don’t mean to criticize places where people worship or people, but I cannot agree with the error that’s being taught.

The New Testament Greek word “tar-tar-oo” is translated to the English word Hell 1x, in 2 Peter 2:4. Tartaroo means; the deepest abyss of hades; incarceration. Again, in Greek mythology this was the lowest darkest Hell where the evildoers suffered punishment for their evil deeds on Earth. Keep in mind this was not something the Bible teaches; it was adopted by the Christians and Roman Church to create fear.

STUDENT QUESTION: Why would Apostle Peter and others use these words that had nothing to do with the truth and could be misleading?

TEACHER: The Apostles were humans just like you and I. They were not infallible and often disagreed with each other. As you study the writings of the New Testament you will see their spiritual growth, some of this appears a contradictions. They did not know everything about true spirituality when they first started out; this is why the Epistles were not to be taken as teachings set in stone. “I cease not to pray that God may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation knowledge of him…” Ephesians 1:16-17 They were speaking to specific needs for specific cultures and groups of people.

The Apostles and Jesus were surrounded by the Greek culture and they spoke the language, therefore, they used words and ideas from that culture to relate spiritual truth. For example; if someone went to China as a missionary, in order to be effective the message must reflect something in their culture that they can relate to. The interpreter will translate English words to Chinese words and expressions creating a mental picture to relate the message. This is exactly what Jesus and the Apostles often did, while using figurative parabolic language and metaphors to relate spiritual truth. However, the translators of this ancient text sometimes did not translate the figurative words properly into English.

Earlier you asked why should you listen to me. Don’t listen to me. Listen to the Holy Spirit within you, the truth of the word and Common Sense. I can not really teach you anything, this information/revelation is already within you. I am merely here to remind you that God is Love and not a Sadist, or Terrorist.

STUDENT QUESTION: It’s starting to make sense. Deep inside I could never understand how God could burn people in Hell forever, but that’s what everyone else was saying, so I convinced myself to go along. After all, what would they think of me, if I disagreed with leaders and Bible scholars?

Everything is still not clicking yet. Isn’t God going to punish the wicked and non-Christians? I know some people will get what’s coming to them.

TEACHER: Do you have children or people that you love?

STUDENT COMMENT: Yes, of course, I have 3 beautiful children; two teen-agers, and one 9 years old.

TEACHER: I am sure that your children don’t always make the right choices and sometimes do just the opposite of what you say, especially the teen-agers. Do you stop loving them when they make bad choices? Do you discipline them the rest of their lives for screwing up? God forbid that one should die, but if so; would you even after death seek to punish the disobedient child that you gave birth to and nurtured? What if that child committed the most horrendous crimes? Rape! Murder! According to your thinking wouldn’t that seem right, loving or even normal to make him forever pay for these crimes, even for minor crimes??!!

Wouldn’t you want to go to his grave, set his corpse on fire, watch it burn while thinking; this is what you get for disobeying me or commiting crimes?! AFTER ALL THIS IS WHAT YOU THINK GOD (FATHER/CREATOR) WOULD DO, DON’T YOU?! DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT SICK PERVERTED GARBAGE ?!!

STUDENT COMMENT: Sobbing…No! NO!  No parent would do that, they’d have to be sick and out of their mind. I love my children.

TEACHER: I am sorry to upset you. If you would not go to those extreme measures and you are a mere human (parent) that understands love in a very limited sense, why would you think God the Father would do such horrific things to those He created? You’re right; someone would have to be out of their mind to even think such thoughts. Yet the pulpits are filled with sermons, the radio and TV stations spew that garbage about my Father endlessly. And not to mention the millions of dollars that have been made off of SELLING FEAR to the naïve and non-thinking; all in the name of Jesus.

God said, “THAT NEVER ENTERED HIS MIND, NOR DID HE COMMAND THIS.” Everyone will get what’s coming to them. What’s coming to them? Is it not Unconditional Love? This is the love that covers multitudes of faults and also corrects whatever is needed.

You must figure out what is it in your psyche that wants to see people tormented. Does that make you feel better about yourself in some sick way? After all, what would that prove?? Is God on some big Ego trip and wants to show off His power to puny humans, so He’s resorting to slow torture? God loves His children.

STUDENT COMMENT/QUESTION: I am beginning to understand. This really makes sense what you are saying, in my heart and spirit I bear witness that it’s true. But I am still a bit afraid to believe that God could have that much love and compassion. Maybe I am afraid that now that I know the truth I may not be motivated to serve God with my whole heart now? I mean, I may not have any more conviction of sin and I am afraid.

TEACHER: Thanks for being honest. You know the truth and the truth has set you free, but you are used to serving God out of FEAR. Your religious tradition has programmed you to be afraid, that’s the basis for Control and you must let go of it. The knowledge of the truth will not make you something you were not already. If you decide to start living what some call immoral, making unhealthy choices and put aside your spiritual devotion; it is because that’s what was in your heart all along and the truth just made you realize it.

You are not truly free from what we call sin, until you are free to sin. However, if you really had a love for God and spirituality this truth will only magnify it. Out of the abundance of the heart will come your words and actions. Many years ago, when I preached this message, religious leaders told me I was giving people a license to sin; I denied it. However, today I understand more and I admit it.

I give you permission to sin or do whatever that’s been in your heart, but remember, your backsliding will correct you. Everyone reaps what they have sown. This understanding will force you to get off the fence, you will be compelled to totally sell out or you will play religious games and become spiritually bankrupt. I do not seek to control anyone with fear. Neither does the Father desire service or works out of FEAR; it is not of God.

STUDENT QUESTION: I have maybe just a few more questions. Don’t think I am mean or a sadistic person. What about Hitler, Stalin and the many people that have caused so much destruction?

TEACHER: In the Torah, the basis for the Bible (first 5 books), is there any mention of eternal torment of the wicked? Don’t you think something as serious as that should have been spoken to Adam and Eve? I mean, if eternal torment is true, I think Adam and Eve should have been warned and maybe they would not have eaten that forbidden fruit. Where is the justice? Think about this. Selah.

The Father created people, tells them what they should and should not do, but OMITS to tell them the real punishment if they disobey. Have you read where God said, “If you disobey, you will burn in a literal Hell forever?” No, because it’s not there.

In our human and somewhat disturbed society, we know the penalties for committing crimes, should not the Righteous Judge have laid out the penalty? He did, “The day that you eat of the tree you shall surely DIE.” Genesis 2:17 “The wages of sin is DEATH.” Romans 6:23 Where is the part about rotting in Hell and burning forever and ever? Did God miss something or Did Man Add Something?

To bring Balance to this truth, you must hear this by the Spirit. Literal fire only affects the physical body or physical world, once the object is consumed there is nothing more to burn. So there is no literal fire that has power over the soul (mind, emotion, will, intellect, and imagination) or spirit.

The purpose for this figurative Hell that affects the soul is not for annihilation, but for purification. The soul or spirit of man cannot be destroyed, it is energy, but it can be changed. No one gets away with anything in life; although, it may appear they do. “Whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap.”

Hell has an END; it will be cast into the lake of fire. Does that mean that there is a literal flaming lake somewhere? No. Our God of Love is this consuming Fire, and everyone goes through the fire. Some experience Holy Ghost Baptism of Fire, the Fires of testing, and others experience the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:14 Hebrews 12:29

In the realm of Spirit there is no time, there is only now (the eternal moment). Hitler, Stalin and many others people that did horrible crimes, will eventually all return to God. From God’s view they are reconciled. “Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.” If you really believe the scripture that says Jesus, the Lamb (Sacrifice of God) took away the sins of the world; then you’d realize, Nothing Will Be Lost. All came out from Him, All goes through Him and All will Return to Him. [During the process of reconciliation there is the purification by fire, but not a literal fire unto annihilation]. Romans 11:36

We must move beyond the Middle Ages teachings concocted by the Religious Leaders that became lords over God’s heritage (Control Freaks). They used this horrible non-scriptural concept of hell as a powerful club on the minds of their victims, to frighten and terrorize their gullible victims into submission. You must realize history proves that the “Divine Comedy,” written by Dante was commissioned by the Church to further enslave the people mentally. His painting “Dante’s Inferno” of the 9 circles of Hell made him popular and kept the people from having a personal experience with God. After all, in those days the thinking was that only the priest, bishops or clergy could communicate with God. The regular people were told they were not holy enough to have an individual experience or to even read religious writings. [It was all about Control & Greed; keeping the people dependent upon the clergy and church membership].

Have you considered that there have been over 180 billion people on the planet in the past 2000 years and most of them never heard the name of Jesus? Even today, there’s at least 3 billion never heard that name and over 2000 languages at least, where the Bible has not been translated to.

What happened to all those people that died? Did a Loving Creator sentence them to eternal torture in hell fire, because they never heard the name of His Son (Jesus)? Or, because they don’t have radio, internet, TV, the ability to read, or someone to share the love of God with them? What purpose would that serve for an All Knowing Loving Being to create billions of humans to torture forever and ever? Where is the Justice? Where is the common sense? Where is the love? Is that something you would do? Who would want to serve a human or God like that?

It is this extremely false misconception and misrepresentation of an angry hateful God that doesn’t even make sense, that drives people away from God and creates rebellion. I, myself even run from that type of false doctrine. However, when the True Creator/Father is represented in the Love that He is and through people filled with His love; no one can resist. “For God so loved the world (not just Christian or Jews) that He gave His only begotten Son…” “If I be lifted up I will draw (drag) All unto me.”

WOULD YOU WANT TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE THAT SAYS THEY LOVE YOU, AND YOU LIVE IN FEAR, GUILT & CONDEMNATION BECAUSE OF THEM? OR,THE LEAST THING YOU DID TO MAKE THEM ANGRY, OR DIDN’T LIVE UP TO THEIR EXPECTATIONS THEY’D SLOWLY TORTURE YOU TO UNENDING DEATH??

STUDENT COMMENT: No !! That is Abuse. You are right, that is not a relationship living in fear. I can’t believe all these years I thought I had a relationship with God, but I didn’t. I thought I knew Him. (Sniffling) For the first time, I feel He loves me for who I am. Thank you for telling me the truth. Thank you.

TEACHER: I only dug out of you what you already knew, by provoking you to THINK. You are welcome.

The belief of a Hell has not left me in all these years, however, it is not the popular Hell created by religious control freaks. I see people daily experiencing Hell, because they don’t know who they are. I am sure those in the combat of war, emotional distress, drug and alcohol addictions, physical or financial problems understand this. In my opinion the Hell of Religion is the worse Hell that man has created. I am no longer afraid of Hell, I’ve been there.

Later we will talk more about the word “forever” and really see what it means.

  1. Funny, thanks man of God for sharing this. Just yesterday a friend sent me a short teaching by a Messianic Rabbi where he was explaining the three different words used in the bible to describe hell. And what you just explained confirms just that.
The Hell preached by the “church” does not exist period.
