The Path of Initiation is a revelation I received in 2001 from the life of Samson.   I had plans for it becoming a book but never got around to it…yet.  Furthermore, it was yet somewhat unsafe to mention astro-theology or allude to it in many of the circles where I was invited to speak.  Since the Sun has been in Scorpio and yet is; we have mentioned the Samson connection in previous writings over the past few weeks.  In this scheme of events called life, we are presented with many choices and there are many paths that all lead somewhere, even if it’s to a dead end. However, for the disciple that’s seeking true Enlightenment, there is only one path. The Path of Initiation is the Path that goes within, veering off to yet many smaller paths deeper into oneself.  An Involution must precede each Evolution of consciousness.

“The Path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.”  Proverbs 4:18

The New Testament Greek word for “mystery” is musterion, which means to shut the mouth (sshhh), silence imposed by Initiation.

Jesus (Yahushua) often spoke to the multitudes in parables, however, to the inner circle He showed them the Path of Initiation into the mysteries of the Kingdom. Matt. 13:11 The Path of Initiation, which is oftentimes humiliating, is to determine if one is qualified to receive the rite of passage. This brings into mind the questioning of one’s character, which must be tried. Words like, Integrity, Courage, Loyalty, Commitment, Faith, Obedience, Sacrifice, and Love must become the garments of the one seeking Initiation.   Question: What am I wearing? Selah.  Unfortunately, many have embarked upon the Path with a distorted understanding of “grace” and erroneously thinking that the rite of passage to move forward comes without cost.  Keep in mind, we are talking about an experience that goes beyond quoting the latest guru, using catchy clichés, quoting Biblical text and what is called the Salvation experience.

The mysteries of the Kingdom are not always verbalized or written down, sometimes they are subtly expressed through nature, the starry sky, or through someone’s life.  We  will see this  reflected in a closer look at the life of Samson.  He gives us a perfect example, also mysteries of the Zodiac are hidden in each experience of his life.

THE 13th JUDGE

Judges Chapter 13 starts off like many other places in this book,

“The children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD.”

The reason why this seems so redundant is because they were spiritually immature (children of Israel). Keep in mind that this was during the period when there were no kings over Israel, and every man did what was right in his own eyes. The was a time of transition. In Joshua they won the victory, but before kingship authority or kingship anointing is release judgment must come to the egoic realm.  Many that do not understand have made “judgment” to be a bad word, however, judgment (correction-choices) are very important on the Path of Initiation.

Every man doing what is right in his own eyes can be looked at 2 ways. (1) They were a bunch of lawless people that did whatever they pleased. (2) They were maturing to a level where they were becoming a law to themself, and out of their perception of righteousness they made choices. Nevertheless, it was a time of great transition.

Verse 2 is exploding with information that sets the stage for a mighty deliverer. “And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of Dan, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bore not.”

Zorah means to scourge, oppress; hornets sting. Dan means judgment. Manoah means to be at rest. Through these names we will find Manoah’s progression to enlightenment that produces the Samson. We will study these names from the astrological and symbolic levels.

In the name Zorah is hidden the constellation of Scorpio. It is the only constellation that has the sting of death, as the hornets have stingers. Dan further confirms that, the Zodiac sign of Scorpio was assigned to the tribe of Dan. In this sign there are 2 major symbols, the Eagle (Phoenix) and the Scorpion.  On modern star maps the Eagle/Phoenix is not seen, there is only empty space.{Another clue to help you further understand Samson the Danite actions-Scorpio rules the genital area of the body, it represents, creation, death and immortality, degeneration or regeneration}. Scorpio is also the 8th Zodiac sign in the heavens signifying, new beginning and immortality.

In verse 2 we see the progression of overcoming your fears and the sting of death (carnal mind), which is sin (Zorah). However, this can only take place as you allow judgment (Dan) unto life to come to your house. “For judgment must begin at the house of God.”  Judgment only means becoming responsible, making proper decisions as the lower self-life dies. Then, the Scorpion nature is transformed into a beautiful Eagle to soar above the principalities into a place of rest (Manoah).

Manoah had progressed to a place of rest as many “Kingdom People”, but his wife (symbolic of Soul) had not produced the enLIGHTenment and deliverance needed to go to the next level. In verse 3, the messenger or message was spoken to the wife (Soul) acknowledging her barrenness, but also giving her a promise. The Spirit of God is always speaking to bring life to our non productive areas of being.   “You will bear a son.” In verse 24, Samson is born, his name means SunLIGHT, brilliant rays.

[Eye come as an angel to you today to speak into your barrenness physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually.  Eye decree and declare that you will give birth  to all the Father has spoken to you.]

Samson is born in the 13th chapter and becomes the 13th Judge over Israel. He does not have a message; rather his life becomes a message. 12 male judges and 1 female (Deborah, means a bee) ruled Israel. Jacob had 13 children, which eventually formed the nation of Israel, 12 sons and 1 daughter (Dinah, mean God has judged). When the Hebrew Calendar is reset every several years based on astrology and agriculture there is a 13th month added. Is all this coincidence? The shadow side of the number 13 denotes Rebellion, we also see this in Revelation 13, the rebellious beast nature rising out of mass human consciousness. In Christian terminology, Samson represents the Church. On a much deeper level the life of Samson reveals your Path of Initiation.  The light side of the number 13 denotes Mastery, overcoming the material plane and ego.  This is seen at the end of Samson’s life, as he literally brings the house down.  This was also demonstrated in the life of Master Yahushua (Jesus) plus his 12 apostles, he mastered the material plane by defying the laws of gravity and many other miracles.

A MAN UNDER A VOW

Samson was a man born under a vow that he did not make, or at least he wasn’t consciously aware he did. He was a Nazarite, one separated unto God. He could not drink wine (partake of the deceitful pleasures of the world), cut his hair (humiliation), or touch any dead thing (carnal mind-sin consciousness).

Later in the story we find out that Samson broke every vow. This is where the Sovereignty of God comes in and overrules our actions. Samson’s weaknesses, wrong choices, and rebellion could not screw up God’s plan; actually it was necessary to fulfill divine purpose.  However, we do not advise purposely transgressing; there are heavy penalties, ask Samson.

Before we incarnated into this physical realm, we agreed to be born into the family, and lifestyles we have experienced thus far. It was and is necessary for our complete development and soul evolution. 

“For those whom He foreknew {of whom He was aware and loved beforehand}, He also destined from the beginning {foreordaining them} to be molded into the image of His Son {and share inwardly His likeness}, that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.”  Romans 8:29 Amplified Bible

When did God foreknow you if it was not before you became physical? It was from the beginning as He told Jeremiah.  Spirit and your spirit came into agreement. When was it planned, discussed, and agreed on that Jesus (Yahushua) would be the ultimate sacrifice?

“The Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the world.”  Revelation 13:8

It was the same with you.  Job was whinnying and complaining about his situation, in chapter 38 God interrogates him. “WHERE WERE YOU?”, the eternal Voice seeks to remind as it resounds through human consciousness. We were all there, but don’t quite remember it yet.

All our good works or even our worse screw-ups cannot mess up the divine plan of God. He is working both His will and to do according to His good pleasure. Even our backsliding will correct us. This is not to say that we should make it a habit of stumbling. We will fulfill our destiny the easy way or the hard way; in this life or another, even if the Potter has to break the vessel and make it over again and again.

INITIATION BEGINS

We will begin to interpret these ancient Scriptures and help you to understand in  contemporary, metaphysical and even astrological terms.  With a little knowledge of the heavens or if you have read our book TRIBEOSCOPE, it will be clear.  Open your mind and you will see it is all laid out here.  We can not go into great detail in this article, but you will receive enough to meditate on and allow Spirit to add to it.

“And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.”   Judges 13:25

To put this verse above in Christianese or Christian terminology,  “Now you’re saved and filled with the Spirit, feeling His Presence.”  There had to have been some type of display of emotions and actions that caused the writer of Judges to record this.  The Path of Initiation is not an emotionless cerebral experience, it is felt in the heart and soul and manifest on the physical body.

The Path of Initiation begins while in the camp of Dan (judgment). This is where the sting of death is.  This corresponds with the Zodiac sign of  SCORPIO, which controls, sexuality, reproduction, life and death.  This is the base or foundational energy center of the body.  The base desires and drives are brought into divine judgment, as the holy flame transmutes the lower passions of Zorah into more purer desires.

Eshtaol means searching, this is the searching of the heart, which speaks of the constellation of LEO. As the Spirit moves us at times in this level of initiation, we are challenged to search the heights and depths of our experience. This searching leads us to deal with the strong issues of the heart and to reconcile relationships.

INVOLUTION

“And Samson went down to Timnath.”  Judges 14:1

Samson was having a wonderful Charismatic/Pentecostal experience, feeling the fire of the Holy Spirit on his body.  A genuine spiritual encounter will always cause the disciple to go down, or rather inward. The true way up, is down and the way out, is in. God’s way are opposite to ours. {Moses had to go to the desert, David went into the wilderness, Jesus was driven into the desert, Paul went to the Arabian desert}.

Timnath means allotted, that which has been given to you. Part of the work of involution is to conquer the false self that’s filled with deception. Timnath,  represents your flesh and soul realm.

Samson saw a woman there, this represents he became aware of issues yet in the soul realm. She was a daughter of the Philistines.  Philistines means wanderer, it comes from a word which means to roll in the dust. The soul (mind, will, emotion, intellect and imagination) has been contaminated by the Adamic (dust) nature. This is the foundation for expression of the out of controlled soulic and fleshly desires.   The prophet Isaiah challenges us to,  “Arise and shake yourself from the dust.”

“Then he went down to the vineyards of Timnath, and a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him mightily and he tore the lion as he would have torn a goat, and he had nothing in his hands.”  Verses 5-6

The Scripture clearly states that Samson is going down again.  What is this Nazarite doing in a vineyard? He has a vow to not partake of that which comes from the vine. It is during the inward journey where the temptations and adversarial experiences take place.

“The devil, your adversary goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.”   1 Peter 5:8

Just like in our HERCULES article,  Samson completely mastered the lion, that which would have devoured him. This also represents mastery over the matters of the heart – LEO (relationships, emotions, bringing closure to old issues). Once the physical plane and fires of passion are overcome on this level, the fires transmutes into a wall of protection around you.  Leo was assigned to the tribe of Judah (the joy of the Lord is your strength).

This is the first level of initiation, going within dealing with the expressions of the lower self.  This must be done before the disciple is given the rite of passage and allowed to evolve to the next level.

“After some time he returned and saw the carcass of the lion, there was a swarm of bees and honey, he took it in his hand and went on eating.”  Verses 8-9

EVOLUTION

Look closely at this.  Remember Samson has a vow on him that he did not consciously make.  He’s not suppose to eat or drink anything that comes from the vine and not suppose to touch anything dead.   What was this Nazarite doing touching dead things? Plus, he’s unequally yoke to a Philistine woman in marriage. He’s breaking the law, won’t he screw up God’s plan?

On the Path of Initiation, the disciple learns to use every opposition  to his advantage. The lion that roared against Samson was in Timnath (allotted portion), representing it belonged to Samson. It is very easy to blame someone else, God or the devil for things that come to intimidate, harass, make us uncomfortable and challenge us. The truth is: It’s Your (My) Stuff.   Most of the challenges that spring up in our lives, we created at some point.   Would the lion have tried to kill Samson had he not been in the vineyard, an off limits place?

You can be devoured by the circumstances of life, or you can overcome and allow them to become food for you. Honey which represents divine wisdom, revelation knowledge and enlightenment is in the lion.   It’s in that which has seemingly been sent to destroy you.  He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

Samson shares the sweetness of his victory with his father and mother, but he didn’t dare reveal to them the struggle, near death experience of the inward journey that produced such sweetness, revelation and blessing.  He did not reveal the price he paid to be such a blessing. It’s never without a heavy price and most will not understand what it cost.

What religious system are you the offspring of? Who are your spiritual parents? Have you evolved far enough to know what to reveal and what to hide?  It is very important to be slow to speak and quick to hear at this level of initiation, lest you bring unnecessary persecution on yourself and character assassination.  Had Samson revealed how he received this honey (enlightenment, revelation, anointing), the religious thinking, imagination, intellect, and emotions of his parents would have shifted into overdrive. The sweetness and nutritional value of the honey would have been lost in their thoughts and fears about a roaring lion (devil).

THE MYSTERIOUS RIDDLE

Samson set forth a riddle, which was not to be solved till the 7th day, it was a 7-day feast. This speaks of the millenniums (7000 years), and the Feast of Tabernacles experience, the experience that we are coming into now.

“Out of the eater came forth food, and out of the strong came forth sweetness.” Judges 14:14

They could not solve the riddle in 3 days.  In biblical prophetic time it represents 3000 years from the time of Adam.  This was the biblical chronological time of the kings, and David was ruling. Inspite of all the spiritual warfare and victories, they still couldn’t solve the riddle, it was not yet time.

The 30 linen garments and 30 changes of raiment that Samson Promised to the one smart enough to solve the riddle – brings us to the number 60.  60 which reduces to 6, is the number of man. This was a Promise that would benefit humanity. [60 also typifies the Holy Place/ Pentecost, the realm of Promise; 30-fold, 60-fold.]  30 speaks also of maturity, completion. The linen garments represents humanity becoming aware of the righteousness of Christ that covers us. The 30 changed garments represents Light bodies, Immortality, the garment of flesh/skin swallowed up in life and light.  “This mortal  put on immortality.”

They tried to force this process and it couldn’t be done on the 3rd day from the first Adam, only in type could David illustrate it. However, the 3rd day or 3000 years from the last Adam (Christ), which is also the 7th day or 7000 years chronologically from the first Adam; the riddle will be completely solved, the day that we are now coming into. This is not a work of flesh, rather, the Spirit.

“On the fourth day they said to Samson’s wife,  “Entice your husband to tell us what the riddle is, lest we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you invited us here to impoverish us?”  And Samson’s wife wept over him and said, “You only hate me; you do not love me. You have put a riddle to my people, and you have not told me what it is.” And he said to her, “Behold, I have not told my father nor my mother, and shall I tell you?”  She wept before him the seven days that their feast lasted, and on the seventh day he told her, because she pressed him hard. Then she told the riddle to her people.  

And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, “What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?”  Judges 14:15-18

The soul has been lamenting and weeping for over 6000 years, as Samson’s wife lamented. She did not want to experience the fires of purification, the Philistines had threaten to burn her house. The Philistines (human nature) eventually got what they wanted, it was not a personal revelation or experience, but it was from someone else. It was from Samson’s wife. That is Soul-Knowledge.   How often on the Path of Initiation do we try to preach or live someone else experience, revelation  or anointing. The results are not the same, unless it has moved from your head to your heart.  No one knew what Samson had to go through to get the honey.    While on the Path of Initiation one can find much information, which is good, however, the disciple must keep in mind that belief systems based in the tree of knowledge ultimately can  cause pride and produce death. It is your personal experiences of Life in the Spirit that brings the real power.

Due to the pressures of moving into the 7th day experience where the riddle of Life and Immortality is being unraveled, there is a need to stay balanced.

Life and Immortality is hidden in that which appears as death. It is in Timnath (you), not in a geographical place call heaven.  Timnath is your allotted portion, your physical body.

ASHKELON

“And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew 30 men…” Judges 14:19

Now we come to  another phase of Involution, this time it is at Ashkelon, which means weighing, balance. Astrologically speaking, we see the Zodiac sign of LIBRA, the Scales/Balances, however, a more ancient of Libra is an Altar. Everything is brought into balance at the altar. Libra was assigned to the tribe of Levi. Levi means joining together, united. Samson further confirms this by desiring to be joined (Levi) to his wife. verses 19-20 After allowing the judgment of Dan (Scorpio) to come and dealing with basic human desires, overcoming the lion in Leo and dealing with the matters of the heart; there comes the strong realization for the need of Balance. (Another interesting observation is, Libra is rule by Venus, which represents love and beauty). Libra metaphysically represents the lower back, human strength/efforts to please God that must come to an end.

This stage of your Involution will uncover many negative, ugly and unlovable circumstances, traits and emotions within you that will be projected out from you. The challenge is to Love and see that He has made everything Beautiful in its time.

The Scales also represent Justice and the love for justice at this level. Samson demonstrates this by killing 30 men. The number 30 also represents Outer Court or Salvation Experience; 30-fold. This is the progression beyond the elementary things of Christ, or the graduation from fundamentalism.

“But it came to pass after a while, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.” Judges 15:1

WHEAT HARVEST

“…He went up to his father’s house.” Judges 14:19

Samson’s involution has now produced Evolution on yet another level. Time has pass, the anger in one stage on the Path has been dealt with, justice has come. The disciple is now practicing the art of Balance, or should be. Samson the Danite-Scorpio has a desire for Intimacy and this is developed during the Wheat Harvest, this harvest takes place during Pentecost (Feast of Weeks). Leviticus 23:15-22

Because of the past experiences the Initiate is driven to a place of Intimacy, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire further ignites him.   At this level of consciousness, the disciplined one is seeking his own personal relationship and experience.  Samson comes with a kid (goat), this was for sacrifice as was requires during the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). However, looking a little deeper, we can see the power of a transformed life. The goat to be sacrifice is yet again another apart of the lower self being revealed and recognizing the need for Atonement (sin-offering).  The Path is one step at a time.

Astrologically speaking this is CAPRICORNUS the Sea-Goat, which was assigned to the tribe of Naphatali. Naphtali means wrestling to overcome. This is the internal struggling within, as the angel who holds the key unlocks the abyss in you, which releases all that’s been suppressed.  It does not look good or feel good, the triggered emotions and memories that’s seeking healing and reconciliation.  The angel is the message or messenger with revelatory words of authority. This is the power of Transformation as seen in Capricornus, it is a fish becoming a goat.  You are translated from one environment to another, from one realm of glory to another.

Samson’s father-in-law does not allow him to be intimate with his wife, no union between spirit and soul. Many religious/spiritual parents of traditional legalistic mindsets (control, manipulation, insecurities) have prevented many disciples from that personal relationship with the Christ, with their doctrines and traditions of men. Religious leader have sought to take the place of Almighty God or Holy Spirit. This has caused much Confusion, Anger and Frustration; as is seen in Samson.  If you are feeling these emotions, it could be Spirit’s subtle ways of trying to draw you into a time of prayer, fasting, or meditation.  Judges 15:3-5

THE END OF WHEAT HARVEST (PENTECOST)

“And Samson went and caught 300 foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails. And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.” Judges 15:4-5

“And the Philistines came up and burned Samson’s wife and her father with fire.”  Judges 15:6

Further Evolution of the Initiate is to move beyond Pentecost (Wheat Harvest). Due to the leaven in Pentecost, the fire must come to  transmute it to a new and higher expression.  The fire also burned Samson’s wife (soul realm) and father-in-law (religious organization/thought which produced that elementary level of expression -based in fear and anger).

A closer look at this will reveal even more that must be encountered on the Path of Initiation. When we solved the riddle, the number was 30, now we have the number 300  in the number of foxes.  The number 300  speaks of Deliverance for the Whole Man. This is spirit=100, soul=100, body=100, Fullness-100 fold. At least this is hinting toward that expression that the Initiate is progressing toward. Despite what appears as negative, everything is multiplied 10 times.

Why the foxes?  “It is the little fox that spoils (twist-pervert) the vine.”  Songs of Solomon 2:15  Christ is the I Am the True Vine in mankind.    John 15   In ancient cultures,  the foxes, especially the red foxes in Rome were burned to appease the red planet Mars. Mars represents Agression, Warfare, and Control. Astrologically speaking, Mars rules the Zodiac sign of ARIES, which was assigned to the tribe of Gad. Gad means a troop is coming to overcome.

Again we see the fire that’s been projected outside must become internal, the Anger, Bitterness, and Frustration of Pentecost must not be suppressed, but focus into something positive. (ARIES represents the Head, the fires must purge all carnality).

Now the Initiate as he yet evolves upward must find that stability within himself, this is signified as Samson goes to the Rock of Etam. Etam mean bird of prey, hawk. You have gone deep within and have come forth with many victories and hard lesson at this point. Now you are allowed to soar and see things from a higher perspective; at least for a while.

DIE HARDS OF PENTECOST

“Then 3000 men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Don’t you know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What is this that you have done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.” Judges 15:11

Can you see the accelerations and multiplication that’s taking place on the Path of Initiation?  It appears to be multiplied by 10.  We have seen 30, 300 and now 3000.  These number are no coincidence, they are filled with deep mysteries, which we are only barely scratching the surface here.   They all reduce to the number 3.

Yet a higher stage of the disciples’ Evolution while on the Path of Initiation is; the Confrontation with the Elders. There are 3000 of them that may appear outside of yourself in the forms of caring, concerned people that feel to warn you against or about cults, new age, demons and perceived non-biblical doctrines. This is the reasoning, challenging, and questioning of your new experience and revelation of the Christ within. All of the old traditions, paradigms, rules, sermons heard, cultural, and biological junk comes to the surface. They have come to get you off the rock of Etam.  You are seeing too much, you are too high (arrogant), they protest. Don’t you know that the Philistines (flesh, old ideas, religion, social media, government) rule us? You are upsetting things, moving us out of the box, causing us to Think, they protest.  The religious people seemed to be more concerned with pleasing the Philistines/world, than deliverance.   Just be satisfied and let things remain the way they are. The Elders made this very personal (self pity, the victim card).  “Why are you doing this to us?” they shouted.  Soul ties can be very convincing and create guilt for the Initiate on the Path, if he is not careful. Don’t take the bait. Disconnect from emotional ties and familiarity.

On the day of Pentecost 3000 people were saved and added to the follower of Christ, called the church.  Acts 2.  This is the 60-fold realm that seeks to subdue the LIGHT, Samson means sunLight. Inside, these are the thoughts that challenge the Initiate, projected outside it is people close to your heart (spiritual leaders, spouse, friends, relatives). Remember these were men from Judah (Praisers of God). Astrologically speaking, it is Leo, which corresponds with the heart, Lion of the tribe of Judah.  These are matters of the heart/relationships that must be dealt with on this level.

The 3000 men of Judah, representing people closely related to him and internal reasoning brought him down from the rock of Etam. This here is another phase of Involution after soaring in the high places. They bound him with 2 new cords.

“They said to him, ‘No; we will only bind you and give you into their hands. We will surely not kill you.’  So they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.”   Judges 15:13

The 2 new cords represents  Duality (double-mindedness) that must be dealt with inside, the questions and fears that’s being projected from the 3000 elders of traditional thinking.    Duality is negative and positive, here we are speaking of the negative duality generated by fear.  Astrologically speaking, the 2 new ropes signifies the Zodiac sign of GEMINI, the Twins, which was assigned to the tribe of Benjamin. Benjamin has 2 names, Benoni, son of suffering, and Benjamin, son of authority. Once negative Duality (good/evil) mentality is swallowed up into oneness or the Singularity,  full power and authority can manifest.

“When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.”  Judges 15:14

Out of the suffering and pain of the challenges to move beyond Pentecost and the religious system of elders; which saught to bind (religio) him,   comes great victory. The Spirit of the LORD is released mightily, as the All Consuming Fire to burn off the bondages of duality. With the jaw-bone of an ass the victory is won. The Holy Ghost manifests in the mouth through languages (speech), and the ass is considered a dumb animal. However, it was through the mouth of an ass the prophet Balaam was rebuked. At this level it becomes more evident how God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. The Initiate realizes some of those thoughts that appeared so far out were actually right on, verse 14.

Neverthless, to move yet into a deeper and higher phase of Involution and Evolution, the jaw-bone of the ass must be thrown away, verse 17. “When I became a man I put away childish things.”  1 Corinthians 13   Saul, before he became the first king of Israel was busy looking for ass. He did not mature and overcome. The thirst within for more of Spirit releases the foreshadowing and experience of the next age, Aquarius.

“And God split a hollow place in the jaw, and there came out water.”  Judges 15:19

AQUARIUS means Outpouring, this Zodiac sign was assigned to the tribe of Reuben, which means look a son. This is the realization of your sonship, no more infancy and adolecency. Aquarius is the 7th Zodiac Age that corresponds with the 7th Feast of the 7th day, Tabernacles (Sukkot). In this Feast was the ritual of pouring out water and wine on the sacrifice. However, before this experience is fully realized, there are even deeper issues that must be dealt with on the Path of Initiation.

HARLOT IN THE HOUSE

Samson goes “down” to Gaza, which means strong; human strength and discovers a whore and sleeps with her.  Judges 16:1

After all of the gifts,  miracles,  wonderful revelations, experiences, visions and victories; if the Initiate depends on human ability to complete his Involution, he will fail every time.   He that thinks he stands because of his own strength, knowledge or works, let him rethink, lest he falls.

The whore represents that part of us from the soulish realm that would compromise and give up the precious and sacred for a bowl of beans, position, fame or fortune. It is the part that yet longs to please man and receive praise or rewards from him. The disciple must overcome her and not give her seed (life), lest the mighty men of Gaza (human strength/wisdom), thoughts from the carnal mind encompass you. Verse 2

“Samson went to Gaza, and there he saw a prostitute, and he went in to her.  The Gazites were told, “Samson has come here.” And they surrounded the place and set an ambush for him all night at the gate of the city. They kept quiet all night, saying, “Let us wait till the light of the morning; then we will kill him.”  But Samson lay till midnight, and at midnight he arose … “   Judges 16:1-3

Astrologically speaking, we find the Zodiac sign of CANCER the Crab, which speaks of holding and taking possession of.  Cancer is ruled by the Moon (night time), reflected light of the soul. Cancer was assigned to the tribe of Issachar, which means, payment for services, hire. This is demonstrated in the work of the harlot expecting payment for the sexual service she provided.

“But Samson lay till midnight, and at midnight he arose and took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two posts, and pulled them up, bar and all, and put them on his shoulders and carried them to the top of the hill that is in front of Hebron.” Judges 16:3

Samson arose during the midnight (3rd watch), a dark hour under the influences of the Moon.  An Evolution took place for this Initiate in trouble. He removed the limitations of which that realm, typified as the gate of the city and bars, and went to the top of a hill before Hebron. The iron bars and gate represents the hardness and strength of the lower-self that must be absorbed into the higher consciousness. It is a form of judgment/correction for the lower self nature. A house divided can not stand,  so he took this to Hebron, which means Unity, joined together. Did this not foreshadow Messiah taking the Instrument of cruelty and judgment on his shoulders up the hill of Golgotha, to make humans realize their oneness with Deity?

Herein is the mystical union of spirit and soul that can only be joined together in the high places. Out of this experience is the spiritual strength formed within to take the Initiate to the deepest depths of his journey within to face the most cunning and deceitful area of his or her soul. Her name is Delilah.

BETRAYAL

The name Delilah means, to languish, oppress, and dry up. She lives in the metaphysical Valley of Sorek, deep within the human experience. Sorek means to hiss, entice, and pierce the eyes. Yes, this represents the hissing serpent that’s yet in the Garden. In this phase of Involution, the Initiate must lose all to experience the reality of full expression of the divine nature -Tabernacles (Sukkot).

On an astrologically level Delilah represents the Zodiac sign of VIRGO, the Virgin. The tribe of Zebulon, which means dwelling place, habitation corresponds with this experience. Virgo represents the solar plexus (stomach). This is the seat of human desires, however, when overcome it is the base of power.

“Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters.”  John 7

This is the experience of the Ultimate Betrayal, which each Initiate must endure before coming to the end of his Path and receiving full EnLIGHTenment. “Samson loved…Deliah.”   Judges 16 verse 4

The love for purity and righteousness draws the disciple into the depths of testing that he might complete his Evolution. It is necessary for someone whom you love and trust to betray you, only they can cause the pain that is needed to completely kill the false self that’s hiding deep within.  Joseph was betrayed by his brothers. David was betrayed by his son. Jesus was betrayed by his Apostle, Judas.

 As Samson made his dwelling place with Delilah, the dictators of the flesh (lords of the Philistines) sought to afflict him. Delilah, the woman he loved pressed him for secrets daily.  Judges 16:5    Jesus (Yahushua) told us, “Give not that which is holy (sacred) unto the dogs and don’t cast your pearls before swines, lest they turn and use your revelations against.”  Why were dogs and swine  used in this metaphor?  A dog can be the most loyal friend, but in a moments notice he can become a vicious attacker. Beneath those licks, whines, happy barks and wagging tail, is yet a wild animal. Swine will take that which is sacred and defile it, using it as a license to transgress, then blame you for their uncleanness.

Samson said, “If I am bound with 7 green cords never dried, I will become as any other man.”    Judges 16: 7 Astrologically speaking, this refers to the Pleiades (7-stars) in the Zodiac sign of TAURUS the Bull. “Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion.” Job 38:31   Pleiades in the Syriac language means Sukkot. Orion means He comes forth as Light.   (Remember Samson means SunLIGHT).  Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, which represents Love. The binding and loosening of the Initiate on this level brings him to the complete end of his human abilities as he taps into the unlimited power of Love.

The Zodiac sign of Taurus was assigned to the house of Joseph (Ephraim/Manasseh), which speak of Sonship (maturity), Fruitfulness, and Overcoming the past afflictions.

Finally, Samson reveals the secret. This is the last vow to be broken. He has been in the Vineyards of Timnath (wine, grapes), and he touched death by retrieving honey from the carcass of the lion. Now he will gets his head shaved. A shaved head is actually a mystical rite used by many Secret Societies on the Path of Initiation. Samson has never had a hair cut, the 7-dreadlocks of hair further signifies the Pleiadian Experience, which will be revealed and experienced as we enter this new age.

From a biblical prospective, we see Samson’s 7-dreadlocks as the 7-Spirits of God that the Church should be governed by, signifying His Fullness.   1) Spirit of Yahweh  2)Spirit of Wisdom  3)Spirit of Knowledge  4) Spirit of Understanding  5) Spirit of Counsel  6) Spirit of Might  7) Spirit of Reverence of God –   Isaiah 11:2

“And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he knew not that the LORD was departed from him.”   Judges 16:20

This deep Involution causes vexation to Samson, as he falls asleep to the physical he’s awakens to a new dimension and realizes that he is just like every other man. The pride of being special, gifted or anointed has gone. He does his  shake the way he was use to doing it,  to manifest the Spirit, but nothing happens.  The LORD was summoning him to a yet deeper realm that transcends the ecstasies of an emotional encounter.  

GAZA REVISITED

Our Father loves us so much that He will continue to deal with our lives until every avenue becomes an expression of Him.  Our backsliding will correct us.   When the Believer says, “Have your way God,” He will do just that. If that means breaking us over and over again, bringing us to the depth of our being, He will do that. Samson loses  his sight, they are gouged  out. Sorek means to pierce the eye; and he must now truly walk by Faith. He is bound with brass, which speaks of judgment to the flesh/ego on a deeper level. He’s imprisoned, at least by the physical appearances. He’s grinding meal, as he demonstrates the laws of circularity, karma, birth and rebirth.  This is the spiral energy that builds up and unleashes the supernatural.   It would appear by the following verses of this chapter that Samson’s hair grew back supernaturally fast.

“Howbeit, the hair of Samson began to grow.” Judges 16:21-22

The final stage of Samson’s Evolution is filled with prophetic indicators and typologies.

“Now the lords of the Philistines gathered together to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice. And they said: “Our god has delivered into our hands Samson our enemy!” Judges 16:23

Dagon was the Fish-god, head and arms of a man and body of a fish. The deity of fertility and abundance, worshiped by the Philistines. Astrologically speaking, this is the Zodiac sign of PISCES, the Fishes. The tribe this was assigned to is Simeon which means hearing from God. This is also the Zodiac sign that was assigned to the ancient nation of Israel and later adopted by Christianity. (This is why we see the fish on bumper sticker, jewelry, etc).

Those who are progressing on the Path of Initiation will be seen as a threat to the worldly and religious system of the Piscean Age. They wont understand your commitment, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice ALL to win Christ. Forces within and without will try to make you conform to the status quo, and what is perceived as acceptable or normal.  Your ability to see by Faith what other can not and hear what others will not intimidates them.

THE RELEASE OF LIGHT

“So they called for Samson from the prison, and he performed for them. And they stationed him between the pillars. Then Samson said to the lad who held him by the hand, “Let me feel the pillars which support the temple, so that I can lean on them. “Now the temple was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there– about 3000 men and women on the roof watching while Samson performed. Judges 16:25-27

The soul has now been purified, all the Involutions necessary for complete Evolution are accomplished. Out of the darkness of the prison (physical-soulic realm of limitations), comes Samson (SunLIGHT).  This is indeed the coming of Christ in man. The Initiate is not walking his own way, but he is led by a lad (child).  Master Jesus said, “Except we humble ourselves and become as a child, we can in no way enter into this kingdom within.”  Prophet Isaiah said,  “A young child shall lead them,”  this is indeed the Man-Child of Revelation 12. He is no longer childish, playing with the religious harlots and their limited doctrines, he has put away childish things. However, he is child-like, ready to learn and believes all, sees the good in all.

Religion and mass consciousness will always want a performance. They will say, “If you’re really a Son of God give us a sign, work a miracle. prophesy to me.”  Samson said let me feel the two pillars which supports the temple. Astrologically speaking, this is the Zodiac sign of SAGITTARIUS, the Centaur. The Centaur has 2 natures, half man and half horse. This has been the support of the Piscean Judeo-Christian Age. The duality must be merged into Oneness, no longer drawing from the sense of humanity (human), only Deity (horse). The tribe Asher which means happy, blest was assigned to this Zodiac.

The 2 pillars also foreshadows Samson’s or the Initiates final Initiation. In all the ancient Mystery Schools (Schools of Prophets) there are the 2 Pillars. We also see this in Solomon’s Temple, they are called Jachin (He shall establish) and Boaz (In His strength). They represent the 2 elements of Wind and Fire as was seen on the day of Pentecost, however, at this level it is intensified.

Samsom called to God and said “Re-Member me…” verse 28.

This is the restoration of human to the divine, the putting back together and release of who you really are. In this re-membering, flash backs of your pre-existence, purpose, and position is fully realized.

There were 3000 men and women upon the roof. These are the same 3000 encountered before, only now they manifest out of the highest place (roof) of soulic consciousness. To add to this mockery from the soul and outward forces, there is contrast and contradiction (male and female). They also represent the Religious/Political realm (Pentecost) of the Piscean Age.

Samson was more successful in his death than in his life, the 3000 were destroyed and metaphoric Babylon fell. The infrastructure of our belief system based in the Pisceans Age (Dagon-the Fish-god) must come to an end. Western Christianity as it has been express with it’s limitations, control, self-righteousness, and pride will never produce the Sons and Daughters of Light. Samson brought an end to the Age of the Fish (Dagon).  According to history, Dagon and his temples in many Canaanite cultures were in most instances built near a dung hill.  Much of what we have seen in the modern day Piscean Age religions is unclean waste made up of doctrines and traditions of men. Unfortunately, many of those standing in the pulpit week after week are full of dung- it is being spewed out through the radio, internet and TV.  It Stinks!

“Samson judged Israel 20 years.” Judges 16:31

This is symbolic of 2000 years of Christianity. At the end of 20 (2000) years, the temple of Dagon was destroyed, Babylon is falling internally and externally. We have come to Age of the Outpouring (Aquarius) of God’s Fullness. We must move from western Christian church mentality to Kingdom consciousness.

 “And the Spirit of the LORD began to move upon him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.” Judges 13:25

 “Then his brothers and his father’s whole family went down to get him. They brought him back and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the tomb of Manoah his father. He had led Israel twenty years.” Judges 16:31

Samson the bringer of Light had come full circle, as the movements of the starry heavens travel, and the universe in the spiral of life. He had overcome the power of death in Zorah (Scorpio), which is transmuted into Life and Creativity. He is released from the Scorpion to become the Eagle he always was. In Eshtaol (Leo) the searching of the heights and depths are satisfied. The emotions and matters of the heart are healed. There are no more adversaries to roar against him, instead, he has become the king of the beastly nature, Judah’s Lion. So it is with every disciple on the Path of Initiation that leads to LIFE. Listen to the eternal internal Voice of the Christ shouting, I AM the Way (PATH), that brings Truth, and Life.

Scorpio is the 8th Zodiac sign of the heavens, 8 speaks of new beginnings, resurection and immortality. Leo is the 5th Zodiac sign, 5 speaks of Grace, multiplication, the gifts. 8+5=13 This wonderful gift of Immortality has been given by the Grace of God, not of our works, righteousness, or religious persuasions.

 The number 13 can represent Overcoming and Mastery. One who has mastered the 12 phases of Involution and Evolution as portrayed in the life of Samson,   through the tribes of Israel and the constellations comes to the number 13. 13 or 1+3=4. 4 is the number of material creation, or overcoming the material plane, thereby, becoming Whole.  At this point, there is no more judgment (judges), only Kingship authority.

Evolution is the power to change and to change is to die to all that is considered real. This figuratively death and burial brings you to the Father, wherein is REST (Manoah). verse 31
